Fantastic lodge in a beautiful part of North Wales

  • 5 of 5

Lovely lodge in a quiet part of a big modern and very well presented Haven Park. All the amenities you need are on site and lots of fun for all age groups. We explored the Snowdonia area which is beautiful and there are so many different types of things to do from steam trains to fantastic walks and beaches. All in all very comfortable lodge and would highly recommend the holiday many thanks

Wonderful, quiet location

  • 5 of 5

The property is in a quiet location but within walking distance of all on site amenities. Quite an achievement during one of the busy theme weekends the park offers.

The owner has provided everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. The property is clean, well maintained and welcoming - a real home away from home.

Communication with the owner was excellent and any questions I had were answered quickly. I would happily recommend this property to others.

Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely property.

Angie

Lovely Lodge

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful place for the family to stay, located in a quiet area of a lively holiday park! a great base to explore the local towns, villages, beaches and mountains! the Lodge has everything you will need. ?But be aware if you want to use the pool or park entertainment you will need to buy a pass - day passes for the pool are excellent for a rainy day! Hopefully we'll be back soon.

Thanks

A great base for exploring beautiful Snowdonia

  • 5 of 5

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone who wants a good base to explore this beautiful part of the UK.

The owners handling of the booking was impeccable from day one, allowing us to pay in instalments was extremely useful with a demanding family. Property was very well equipped and ideal for our family of five.

The Asda and also a good Spar shop in Pwllheli were nicely stocked for supplies but the on site stores are good as well.

We purchased entertainment passes so that we could use the swimming pool (a little expensive but worth it after our days out exploring).

We managed to cram in Snowdon mountain railway, West highland railway, Ffestiniog railway, Llechwyd slate mine, Great Orme copper mine, Great Orme tramway, Caernarfon castle, Criccieth castle and Porthdinllaen with its wonderful Ty Coch inn.

All in all an excellent holiday and would do it all again at the drop of a hat.

Thank you so much Angela.

Awful.. Rude owner

  • 1 of 5

Was soo looking forward to a break here with my fiancé, little girl and mother in law! First night was fine but the day after no hot water! We went out for the day and left it thinking it'd come back on, by the time we got home it was too late to contact owner so the 2nd day I messaged her to get a sarcastic comment back! Anyway had nothing but trouble from the owner saying she didn't recieve key back even though she recieved the envelope and bank details in the post (obviously to keep some of the security bond) doesn't like to be confronted and also talks to you very patronizing. Motto of the story don't go here unless you want constant emails accusing you of things!

Owner's Response: This is a completely dishonest account of what happened. Guest actually refused to leave on departure day, without a thought of her selfish action to the cleaning teams rotas and other guests arriving that day. We believe the "water complaint" was to cover her actions. Both previous guest and guest that arrived that day and my cleaner have all confirmed the hot water was working perfectly I've been doing this for 11 years now and have never had any problems like this guest caused.

Really Good

  • 5 of 5

The lodge is situated on a really quiet part of Hafan y Mor park and situated well away from the busy areas but only 5 minutes walk to shops and facilities.

It's west facing so ideal for evening balcony drinks and really well appointed/equipped with parking for one car to the front.

We had a lovely stay for four nights and we were comfortable and relaxed. Communications with the owner were excellent and would recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a break.

Pwyllheli is only 10 minutes drive away (large Asda) and Criccieth about the same the other direction.
