The Vista is a lovely open plan apartment. The living area is very spacious with underfloor heating, comfortable lounge and dining table with 6 chairs. The Vista is situated just outside Newquay on the desirable Pentire peninsula. Guests enjoy a close proximity to Fistral Beach and the stunning views from the coastal paths of Newquay. To the rear of the property is the Gannel Estuary, which is a superb place for canoeing, walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding. To the front of the property is Newquay Links Golf Course. Newquay is a bustling harbour town, well known for its surfing beaches, shopping centre and excellent golf course. Watergate Bay is also close by and home to the Extreme Sports Academy and the Jamie Oliver’s inspired Fifteen restaurant, while the fishing village of Padstow and Rick Steins restaurants, plus Cornwall’s best attractions as the Eden project, the National Maritime Museum and the Scilly Isles are all within easy reach.

Fantastic

Beautiful apartment the photos are very accurate and we were very happy here for a week. Just wish we had longer. The courtyard was so much more than that it was plenty big enough and our dog loved being able to go in and out as he wanted. The quality of the furnishings was exceptional and the kitchen so well equipped. The location was great for us. A short walk to reach the beach and into town for restaurants etc. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Brilliant homely dog friendly accommodation

Very clean comfy cosy apartment with everything you have at home! The bed was so comfy I wanted to bring it home! Has everything you need to cook with. Great location! Brought our dog who was very happy to be there outside shower ideal!

Hoping to book next year with dog and new baby also! Brilliant place book book book!

Going again and again

5 stars is not enough to state how great the Vista is. We have stayed there 3 times now with our Westie. He loves it. Home from home and everything you could want in a holiday home. We are going to be booking for next year as well. Chilling in the Cornish air is great with plenty of walks. Very rare we take the car out. Lisa, who looks after the apartment, is also fantastic. No task is too big. Whatever the reason for going to Newquay, staying here is a must! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely apartment with us!

Stunning, spacious and dog friendly apartment

Lovely centrally located apartment, dog friendly, walking distance to Newquay town and Fistrel beach. Large Apartment furnished to a high standard with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Beds very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Secure enclosed front courtyard for dogs a bonus. Will definately return What you see in the photos is very true. Apartment was very clean. We enjoy all of Newquay, the dig friendly beaches and shops, lovely restaurants - dined out a couple of times. The Greek restaurant in town was excellent!

A perfect stay

Have stayed in this area many times and this is one of the best places we have stayed in. The apartment was spotless and had everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday. Perfect location for the beach and for the town centre and great for the dog too!

Fabulous apartment

We arrived late on Thursday and were blown away at the standard of the accommodation. It is very luxurious and has all mod cons from huge tv, PS3, sky tv, wifi and the kitchen is also well equipped.

It has 2 good size bedrooms, one is ensuite and there is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.

It is about 10-15 min walk into Newquay.

There were some supplies waiting for us like tea bags, coffee, milk and biscuits which was a lovely touch.

We'll def be back again!

We love the Fistral Beach area because of the many beautiful beaches nearby. Also you are far enough out of Newquay not to be in the centre of the bustle of the town but close enough that you can walk there in 20 minutes to the many shops, restaurants and bars. There really is something for everyone here. The area gives you easy access to most of Cornwall and to some really great coastal footpaths.

Coast/Beach:

Fistral Beach is 500 yards from the apartment.

There are 8 different beaches within walking distance of the town and 4 more a short drive away - all of them with golden sand and Atlantic breakers and each of them offering a different beach experience for every day of your stay.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Newquay (5 miles)

Distances:

Being just 7 miles from the A30 trunk road means that the towns of Padstow (10 miles) and St. Ives (20 miles) are within easy reach along with the county capital of Truro (10 miles). Attractions such as The Eden Project (12 miles), The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth (17 miles) and Crealy Adventure Park (6 miles) are within easy reach.

Further Details:

The apartment is a 15 minute walk from the town centre and local pubs and restaurants.

If you walk in the opposite direction you can be at Pentire Point in 20 minutes where you will find fantastic views, the South West Coast path and access to Crantock beach.

Nearby is also Watergate Bay (5 miles) This is a stunning beach and home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant, Watergate Bay Hotel which is open to non-residents and the Beachut which is a café on the beach.

At Watergate Bay you will also find the Extreme Acadamy which is great for water sports.

  • Notes on accommodation: Complimentary Wi-fi is available for guests. If requested a trundle bed can be provided for a child up to 8 years old, please advise at time of booking. This can be set in the second bedroom which will leave little floor space or it can be put in the lounge or master bedroom. 2 well behaved dogs welcome Outside: French doors lead onto a good sized private courtyard garden laid with slabs and shrub borders. There is a large picnic table and views down to the sea. Included is outside sofa and coffee table set. Gas BBQ. There is side gate access to the car park from the garden and this is where the surf board store is situated. Additional store contains children body boards and buckets and spades available for guests use. There is Intercom entry access from the road and security coded gates to gain entry to the car park. Designated parking space with ample additional parking for visitors. Outside communal shower. Utility Room: Washer/Dryer housed in the hallway laundry cupboard with ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Cleaning and changing of linen and towels is once a week. Other: The entrance hall has coat hooks and space for shoes and boots. All rooms lead off this hallway.
