Labarthe is the ideal location for your Dordogne vacation, set between the bastide towns of Eymet and Issigeac in the beautiful Southern Dordogne region. Labarthe consists of three main buildings (main house, Cottage and Pigeonnier) which surround a large graveled central yard at the end of a 250 metre private drive way. All three principal properties have their own private sun terraces with table and chairs for alfresco dining and of course all have access to the large enclosed heated swimming pool (open May - Oct) in the delightfully kept mature 2 acres of gardens.
It is ideally situated so that you have the tranquility of the countryside, but also minutes away from your everyday needs, with no adjacent neighbours, surrounded by fields of Sunflowers and corn, it really is a perfect place to visit.
If your requested dates are not available in the Pigeonnier, please contact me as i do offer a reduced rate for just a couple in the bigger Cottage.
I am here on site if you ever need anything and can offer recommendations, but i also respect your privacy.
The local tourism office can be located in Eymet square, and they speak a whole range of languages.

We have just spent three weeks at the gite and had a wonderful time the location is tranquil but not to far from amenities. The property has everything you could wish for Janette has thought of everything.
Property very well presented in a quiet location with in easy access of many pleasant villages and their markets, cafes and restaurant's plus easy to find from Bergerac airport.
We had a fantastic time in the pigeonnier in September 2016.
We were given a warm welcome from Jenette and her lovely family. They made our stay very pleasant. The pigeonnier was charming, comfortable and peaceful, a perfect location for a family holiday, in such proximity of Eymet; ideal to explore other surrounding bastides
towns ! The weather was fabulous for this time of the year and being able to chill in the swimming pool, in the evening was delightful, not to mention the alfresco dining on the patio.
Our 2 and a half year old son really enjoyed spending time in the front garden, eating the plums and there were plenty of toys
available for him to play with.
We definitely enjoyed our stay a the pigeonnier and cannot wait to return!
The pigeonnier is a beautiful property, it was perfect for the 3 of us. Jeanette kindly left us some cheese, bread wine etc on arrival and was on hand if we had any queries. The pool was amazing and the pigeonnier was very private. The property is situated in a lovely, quiet location just 10 minutes drive from Eymet. There are lots of places to visit in the area. Amongst other things, we enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne, visiting the Chateau de Bridoire and cycling to the local villages. Jenette and her lovely family made us feel very welcome. It was a perfect holiday for us - I can't recommend it enough!
Beautiful accommodation, fully equipped with stylish taste. Awesome surroundings and a superb outdoor pool. Quiet and relaxing holiday stay. Car a must, short drive to Eymet village. Plenty of British people around for company, locals all friendly.
Jenette gave us (and our dog) a very warm welcome, both personally and with a few useful goodies, including bread, wine, milk and eggs. All the essentials were at the cottage, so no need to bring the basics! Eymet is just a short (10 mins) drive away and has everything one could need, supermarket and restaurants. The bed and living room were very comfortable, the view of open countryside from the terrace made it a very relaxing place to sit when the sun shone (it was March). Our dog enjoyed sniffing around the garden and strolling round the nearby fields. All in all a very pleasant spot and would definitely recommend it for a couple with (or without) a dog.
