About Laura Webb

We have loved Wells and the North Norfolk coast for many years. The coastline is spectacular, spacious and peaceful, and Wells itself bustling and lively, with its mix of art galleries and shops, cafes and restaurants. There are some great local food shops on the main street including butcher, bakery, greengrocer and fishmonger. Having visited for many years we have now taken the plunge and bought our own cottage here so that we can visit with our two young boys. They love crabbing at the quay, playing on the beach and in the pine forest and visiting the "rock shop" on the high street that sells keenly priced crystals and semi precious stones. The play park opposite was a real find with the much loved "Bounty" pirate ship. We hope everyone renting the cottage will enjoy this very special place as much as we do.

Why Laura Webb chose North Norfolk & Coast

As soon as we walked in to the cottage we knew it was perfect! It is generously proportioned for a 2 bedroom cottage, cosy and comfortable, and perfectly located for the town, quay and beach. Since we have had it we have tried to continually improve it to make it more comfortable and keep it well maintained.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage is tucked into a quiet corner very close to the quay and bustling centre of Wells. There is a great children's play park just across the road, and our boys also love crabbing off the quay which is only 2 minutes walk away. After a walk along the beach and back through the pine forest we like to pop into The Edinburgh for an afternoon pint before getting fish and chips on the way home!

A fantastic cottage in a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

the property is spacious with a combined living room and dining area, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. first floor a bedroom with a kingsize bed that can be made into two singles and then a master bedroom with kingsize on the second floor. it also unlike some of the other properties has access from the front where the car park is situated or from the rear where a small courtyard is located. It is very quite (in a good way) but near enough to the restaurants, quay side and bars. Laura is a great host who cant do enough to make your stay fantastic.

Comfortable Cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is located just minutes from both the High Street and the Quay. IT has the added luxury of a parking space right outside the front door. An easy stroll to the shops with its many coffee shops and restaurants, also just minutes from the coastal path. All this on your doorstep means you have no need to move the car which I loved.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I would certainly recommend

We love this cottage & have stayed there twice now & hope to return next year

It's roomy, homely & cozy & situated in a pretty square

Everything needed for a comfortable stay is included (even towels)

It's close to Wells harbour with all the lovely shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants

The main beach is a mile walk & well worth the walk

Pretty much everywhere is dog friendly so our Boxer had an amazing time as did we

We highly recommend this cottage & Wells, & can't wait to return

Lovely cottage

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at Brig Square. It's in a great location near to all the attractions and amenities. The cottage is cosy and well equipped, my son particularly like the selection of games and toys! And the beds were really comfy! Laura, who owns the property, was lovely and kindly arranged for our mattress protector to be returned to us as we forgot it. Will definitely return.

We have just returned from a week in this delightful cottage. It is tucked away in a quiet square off the main thoroughfare but only minutes walk from the quay and Wells busy high street.

The cottage comfortably accommodated us (4 adults). The downstairs has an open plan room for living and dining, a well designed small kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower over. There are also front and rear hallways with space for coats, dog bowl, pushchairs etc which kept the clutter out of the way. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and the top room is lovely and sunny, having windows to front and back. The beds are very comfortable.

The coastal hopper bus service is excellent for exploring this area, and has direct rail connections at King's Lynn.

The cottage was warm and cosy and lovely to return to after a blustery walk. It has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped and tastefully decorated. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Great Location, small living space

  • 3 of 5

The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived and parking out front is a real bonus. The cottage is well-equipped but the living space downstairs (which includes living/dining, the only bathroom and tiny kitchen) is rather cramped - not really adequate for a family with young children. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious however so the cottage is fine for older children who are happy to spend time in their bedroom. There is no private secure outside space, the only place to sit is out the front. The location is great, a short distance from everything the town has to offer and a mile or so walk down to the beach. Unfortunately we currently have an on-going dispute with the Owner regarding a high level of noise disturbance that we endured throughout our stay due to building work next door where we are seeking reasonable compensation. Putting that issue aside, we would recommend the cottage to a couple or a family with older children for short stays, the lack of space downstairs would probably be off-putting for longer stays.
