Few holiday cottages are as splendidly situated as these with fabulous views across the sea to St David's Head and Strumble Head. Situated on a small holding, the home of the Garn Deri pedigree Welsh Black Cattle. The sunsets are stunning at any time of the year and you may well see Wicklow mountains in the distance. The wonderful rugged isolation of the coast path is just a short walk away. This is an excellent location for bird-watchers and observing seals, porpoise and wildlife in general. The sunsets enjoyed from the cottages are breathtaking. The cottages are fabulous in summer but also make an excellent cosy choice for a winter break with the wood-burning stoves and the traditional thick cottage walls.

SWN Y MORLOI sleeps 2. Entrance into hallway which leads into the LOUNGE/DINER which has wood-burning stove, solid oak furniture and comfortable seating. Flat screen TV with DVD player and WiFi internet. The KITCHEN has a slate floor, white units incorporating a ceramic hob, oven, fridge with separate small freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also provided. The BATHROOM has a slate tiled floor with underfloor heating and a white suite of bath, overhead power shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is also a heated towel rail.
The stairs from the lounge leads to the BEDROOM which has a king-size bed, quality linen, TV and sea views.
A Z bed is available for occasional use as is a cot and highchair.
Night storage heating included in the tariff.

Mike and Cathy Kurtz own two of the cottages and Tal y Gaer is co-owned by Mike and his brothers, Wolfgang and Rowland.

Activity and Interests
The Coast path is on the doorstep with great beaches nearby at Aberbach and Abermawr and along the St Davids Peninsula, Abereiddy, Whitesands. Going north at Newport. Excellent walking area with shuttle bus service which serves the beaches and inlets along the coast. Circular walks can be taken from the cottage taking in breathtaking coastal views and country lanes. Or climb the rocky volcanic outcrop (Garn Fawr) and witness the magnificent views of the coast.
Nearest airports are Cardiff and Bristol. The ferry at Fishguard goes to Rosslare, Ireland. The port is about 6 miles from the cottage. The use of a car is recommended although the Pembrokeshire Coast Bus Service (Strumble Shuttle) travels along the coast 7 days a week in summer (restricted in winter) to access walks, beaches, boat trips, local villages and attractions. You can meet this bus less than a mile away from the cottages.
Local market town of Fishguard is about 6 miles away.
The magnificent Cathedral at St Davids is worthy of a visit. During May and June it is host to a feast of classical music at the Cathedral Festival. 15 miles away
Main provincial town is Haverfordwest about 14 miles.
Pembroke, with its important castle is about 25 miles away.
Lovely villages to visit include, Newport, Nevern, Porthgain, Abercastle, Trefin, Solva and many more. Oakwood theme Park and Folly Farm are some 45 minutes away.
Local shopping at Fishguard and Goodwick with a supermarket, tea rooms, restaurants and many small and interesting shops. St Davids has a good range of small shops and a small supermarket and plenty of eating out places as has Newport to the north. There is a Butcher shop in Letterston about 6 miles away.

25% deposit required with booking and balance payable 8 weeks before commencement of holiday. A booking form and Terms and Conditions will be emailed to you. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days. At certain times we are able to offer short breaks.
Both cottages are Saturday changeovers.

- Notes on accommodation: Swn y Morloi and Tal y Gaer Cottages are delightful character cottages. Great care and attention has been taken to make them the ideal holiday base to discover this unique area of North Pembrokeshire. The unrivalled views coupled with quality furniture and furnishings throughout give these cottages the edge together with the extra "little touches". A hamper of local Welsh produce including wine and milk, complimentary bathroom items and fresh flowers await you. You will also get a basket of logs to entice you to light the woodburner! So many guests return time and time again which is a testament to the quality and experience they enjoy. Sorry no pets and no smoking at these cottages. Outside: Tarmac drive leads to the cottages which are set in beautiful grounds. A door from the kitchen of SWN Y MORLOI Cottage leads to the secluded private patio which has garden furniture and barbecue. Steps lead to the grassed and bordered garden where stunning coastal and hill views can be enjoyed. Both cottages have stone garden furniture for alfresco dining and wooden loungers are also provided. TAL Y GAER cottage is surrounded by lawns with ample parking for cars and a boat! These gardens also enjoy fantastic sea views.
