Great cottage in a great location
My husband and I spent a weekend at this property with our puppy. We had a great stay! Sophie was very responsive with messages and had a cake waiting on check-in. The hosts were also helpful with tips on what to do, where to eat - which we very much appreciated. The cottage is in great condition and has all the necessary amenities. It’s a great location to explore the national trust properties close by and close to the beautiful Bedgebury forests. Highly recommended! One thing to mention is that, it isn’t obvious from the listing that the cottage is just off the main house where the hosts live. The cottage has a separate entrance, but the garden is part of the main garden without a fence which is not ideal if you want to let your dog out without a lead as there are hens / chickens free in the garden. It didn’t make much of a difference to us.

About the host

Host profile image
We moved from London 10 years ago to this beautiful and well placed area in Kent. Over time we have collected an array of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens who can regularly be seen roaming the garden. We are relaxed and easy going and are always happy to help our guests in anyway whether it is information or recommendations. We run our holiday let for pleasure and so far everyone has been fantastic.

Why they chose this property

It is excellently placed for everything you could wish for: walks on your doorstep with beautiful countryside, small villages, large towns, trains and good commutability.
