Apartment, villa, situated in Benalmadena Costa. This property over looks the Torrequebrada golf course, and also within walking distance of Torrequebrada casino. It also has lovely sea views. Own private swimming pool. 2 double bedrooms, sleeps at least 6 people. It has a large lounge, and fully fitted kitchen, 2 bathrooms, one on-suite. It has a large terraced area, with plenty of sun loungers. within 10 minutes walking distance to local restaurants, shops and supermarkets. only 10 minutes by car or taxi into Benalmadena marina, where there are many fantastic restaurants, with what ever food takes your fancy, also some fantastic yachts that are moored in the harbour. There are also more lovely natural sandy beaches very close by, with local restaurants situated on the beach (chiringitos) to enjoy typical Spanish food and tapas.

Hi I'm Neil, and i have lived in Spain with my wife and 3 children for 9 years now. We came here to give the children a better more relaxed way of life. We live in a typical Spanish village not far from Malaga, so why don’t you come over to stay in the apartment, and enjoy a bit of Spain with us!

Why neil cannon chose Torrequebrada

I am looking after the property for my friend who lives in England,and take all the bookings,and look after the people that come to visit the apartment. Its a lovely place looking right over the Torrequebrada golf course.

Its within walking distance of the beach,and local shops and supermarkets. Its only a 15 minute car ride from Malaga airport,witch has many airlines flying into the airport daily. The area is ideal for families looking for that relaxed holiday,but also if you have older children the night life in the harbour is not that far away!

What makes this apartment unique

Its not to far from the airport. Its situated in a very nice part of Benalmadena, with sea views from the terraced area. The property is not over looked,and has its own private pool.

Its close to the beach,shops and supermarkets,all typical local bars.

Also within walking distance is the casino.

Notes on accommodation: This property is ideal for a family, or just the two of you getting away. plenty to do and see, and with the very hot costa del sol climate you can also enjoy some great weather out of season. Both bedrooms and the lounge area have air-conditioning, and will also work as heating out of season. the price for your stay also includes a welcome pack, to get you started what ever time you arrive at the property. Outside: The swimming pool is approx 9x5, and is a private pool. It is surrounded by terracing, that over looks the golf course, and also has sea views. It has a BBQ, and table and chairs for outside dinning. It has plenty of sunloungers with cushions to take in that lovely Spanish sun. It has lots of potted plants, and established flowers, in the terraced areas. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided, and would be changed after the first week, if your stay is for 2 weeks or more. We also hire swimming pool/beach towels,as the villa towels can't be used outside the villa.

Comfortable, spacious and private.

Property was clean and well maintained. Very spacious and well equipped. Lovely and private with excellent panoramic views across golf course and down to the sea. Very quite location but only 10min walk to seafront and excellent supermarket together with a handful of bars and restaurants. Already considering returning next year and would highly recommend.

Back again to an idyllic location

My wife and I are actually a bit reluctant to award a five star rating as we don't want anyone else to discover this outstanding villa. We think that as this was our third visit in eighteen months it shows how good this villa is for a holiday. As a retired couple the tranquillity and privacy awarded by the location of the property is second to none. However, the potential for an excellent family holiday can be seen in abundance. Numerous sun-beds, table & chairs, BBQ and umbrellas, for those in need of a bit of shade and, of course, the pool.

Inside, the villa is exceptionally clean. There is everything required in the kitchen for self catering yet within a five to ten minute walk there are good restaurants, especially Amicis/Amigos. Mentioning the walk, going down is easy and we soon got used to the climb back up. Neil, the manager, is an excellent host. He is discreet in his service but can attend quickly to any problem, should one arise. The welcome pack provided is very welcome indeed especially after a late flight. If things go according to plan we intend to return next year.

Ideal property for a quiet holiday

Enjoyed our 2nd winter break at Villa del Golf. We have already booked again for next winter. Ideal spot to explore the coast, lots of things to do within easy reach. Only about 10 mins walk to the beach but having a car means you can do so much more. Lots of places to walk and lots of great golf courses along this stretch of coastline, in fact the outside space overlooks Torrequbrada golf course. We loved the outside space with its own pool ( bit cold in the winter though) ,but still ate outside often as so nice and private.

The apartment itself is nice and spacious with plenty of room for 6 people. Well kitted out with plenty of utensils etc. Neil is always on hand if there is anything else you need.

It is located in a nice quiet residential area but still only a short distance from restaurants and supermarket.

Fantastic

The accommodation was in an excellent location overlooking the golf course. The main bedroom & en suite bathroom is superb! The Villa had a well equipped kitchen, BBQ & had plenty of living space both inside & outside. A little away from the shops, but if you enjoy a walk as we did, its perfect!

Neil was an attentive host, anything asked a prompt & friendly reply was given, anything needed was dealt with as quickly as he could.

The welcome pack of water, milk, tea, beer/wine & some food was just the ticket after a days travel & especially as we arrived late evening with two young children.

Will definitely book again!!

Great Place to Stay

This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday the spacious terrace and pool overlook the golf course and has in the background lovely views of the mountains.

If you want a more lively scene it just 10 minutes walk away where you can catch the local buses to Marbella, Torremolinos , Puerto Marina & Malaga and the service is excellent and cheap.

The welcome pack provided by Tanya & Neil is the best we have ever received in a Self Catering accommodation and much appreciated.

We hope to return in the near future.

Lovely villa, ideal location, great holiday!

This is a lovely villa which has everything you could possibly need.

We arrived at night time and the welcome pack provided for us was very much appreciated.

The views are stunning and the pool area is very large. The location is lovely and quiet but only a ten minute walk from the beach.

We didn’t hire a car and managed fine using the local bus and taxi service which were very reasonable.

We have only one small suggestion and that would be to upgrade the beds.

Neil was extremely helpful and we can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is next to the casino, and is approx a 10 min walk(2 by car)

the next beaches along the coast closer to main Benalmadena front are 15 mins (5 by car). they have some of the best beaches along the coast, and are very safe for young children, as they don’t suddenly drop away. they are always kept very clean, and you can hire sunbeds and shades, or just put your towels down on the long and vast beach areas. There are many bars and restaurants on the beach front.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Malaga, which is about a 20 min drive to the apartment.

A car is recommended, but many of our visitors have been here without transport, and seem to have got by very well. The taxi service within the area is very good, and also the bus service is very reliable and a cheaper option than taxi. The bus stop is only a 10 min walk from the apartment, the buses can take you into Benalmadena, or the other way towards fuengirola and marbella.

Distances:

Benalmadena marina is about 10 mins by car or taxi.

where you can find seaworld, and the marina. Also approx 10mins by car is tivoli world (great for the kids similar to our theme parks). Which also has the cable car to take you to the top of the mountain.

fuengirola is about 10 mins by car where the Castillo de sohail is.

Also in case you feel you need English food, fuengirola has an Iceland!

Back into malaga is a good trip with many interesting shops and the old part of the town.
