Great little studio with everything you could need in a fantastic location.

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely time exploring Bosham an Chichester harbour area. It was great to come back to the cosy studio and relax. Doreen was very friendly and had left lots of little extras like jam and milk and a lovely fresh loaf and beautiful flowers which made the stay extra comfortable. A super little bolt hole with beautiful scenery all around. Thank you

A little haven

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a few restful days in this lovely little studio with its gorgeous secluded courtyard. Doreen was a helpful informative hostess giving us excellent suggestions to get the most from our stay. The studio has everything you need and although no parking at the property the village car park is just a few metres away and this caused us no issues.

A very comfortable, well equipped, peaceful studio cottage with a pretty courtyard garden.

  • 5 of 5

My stay for 3 nights was relaxing and peaceful. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and the pretty courtyard garden was the perfect place to have breakfast and a drink before supper in the sunshine. The owner was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. About 100 yards from Bosham Quay, it is perfectly situated for walks along by the water and to explore the village of Old Bosham. I would definitely return.

Quiet studio retreat in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely little retreat a short walk from the quay at Bosham. Doreen the owner is a pleasure to deal with and has an attentive and caring way while being unobtrusive too. Beautifully clean and tastefully decorated, the studio is equipped with everything you would need including real coffee and home made jam for breakfast! We had good weather and were able to have breakfast and evening drinks in the sunny rose covered courtyard. There are good pubs and restaurants withing walking distance. The Brasserie at the Millstream was good. We visited Uppark House, admired the stunning views from Hartington Down and saw the beautiful gardens at West Dean. A wonderful four night stay...we will go back!

pefect retreat

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely long weekend in Bosham. Property was perfect with a wonderful courtyard suntrap. Really enjoyed being able to walk to the Quay and around Chichester Harbour. Got bus into the centre of Chichester one day from the carpark very near by. Visited Fishbourne, West Dean and the Weald and Downland Museum. Highly recommended!

Location

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Bosham is a beautiful old harbour village, it used to be famous for oysters and boat building. The oysters and boatyards have gone and it is now a haven for sailors, artists, photographers and bird watchers. The fishermen's cottages still line the waterfront and the village is full of character and charm. The long sandy beach at West Wittering, a great place for wind-surfing and kite-surfing as well as walking and swimming, is about 20 minutes drive.

Travel:

Airport: Gatwick: 65 miles

Railway: Chichester: 4 miles

Ferry: Portsmouth: 15 miles

There is a regular train service from Gatwick to Chichester. London is 1 hr. 40 mins. away, either from Havant to Waterloo, or from Chichester (or Bosham) to Victoria.

The journey from Portsmouth Ferry Port takes approximately 30 minutes.
