About the Owner

The house is owned by my brother and I, we bought it in 2011 after selling our parents home who have sadly both passed away. We have spent a lot of time and money in doing the whole house up and modernising it. However we felt it was important to still keep a traditional feel, therefore much of the old furniture around the house especially in the living room is from our parents home. We hope that you feel at home here and enjoy the house as much as we both do when we stay!

Lovely cottage in great location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, spacious cottage in a great location. Not too far from the coast by car, but as it's on the edge of the village you're walking in the countryside straight away! Public Bridleway nearby has lovely views and was thoroughly enjoyed by our dog on morning/evening walks, as was Holkham, Wells and Brancaster beaches. The property itself is probably the best equipped one we've ever stayed in, with the option of a log fire (kindling etc we got at the garage in Burnham Deepdale). Excellent communication with the owners throughout, who provided a very thorough welcome info pack.

We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

My family had a chance of a precious few days holiday and we were delighted when we found ourselves at Flint Cottage. Fabulous little village (although quiet), the cottage was well equipped, clean, comfortable. A small garden, but perfectly adequate and most importantly secure enough to allow our dog out unsupervised.

Will definitely stay again.

A beautiful cottage in a quiet location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this cottage for 4 nights. It was a lovely cottage and we felt really comfortable and relaxed during our stay. It was in a great central location in a pretty small village. It was only a few miles from Wells which we visited a few times. There was a mix of traditional furnished living room and modern bedrooms and kitchen. The kitchen was big and very well equipped. We had great communication with the owner who answered all our queries. I would recommend staying here and it was a reasonable price.

A perfect cottage in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We had the most wonderful week at the cottage. The owners use it themselves and you can tell - it is so well equipped, there was everything there that you could ever need. The cottage has been beautifully renovated, is spacious, stylish and very comfortable. We loved looking at the huge family tree in the sitting room and (carefully) at the wonderful old books on the landing. This certainly didn't have the anonymous feel of some holiday lets.

The location was perfect too. Lovely local walks for the dogs and so many places to visit only a short drive away - Holkham Hall, Wells-next-the-sea, Cley-next-the-sea, Sandringham; the list goes on!

This was our first visit to Norfolk and it certainly won't be the last. We can highly recommend Paddock Yard and we will be back!

Spacious and well equipped

  • 4 of 5

Lovely family feel to this house. 3 good sized double rooms, well equipped for cooking etc. Good location only a short ride from Wells and other coastal places. Located in very quiet and peaceful place. Lovely that we could take our dog, and even found they had dog bowls, toys, but we had taken our own.

Would certainly recommend.

Great cottage, excellent location for touring

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was lovely - comfortable, clean, well maintained, high standard of decoration and good facilities provided. The garden was a bit small for dogs and no dogs allowed upstairs, which was a bit disappointing although minor issue. Definitely would recommend staying. Only comment was a delay in the owners repaying the deposit, but all worked out after a couple of prompts. On the whole my family had a fantastic trip and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Location

From the Owner

The house is owned by my brother and I, we bought it in 2011 after selling our parents home who have sadly both passed away. We both grew up not too far away and were keen to have a place near the sea to spend time during our holidays. South Creake is a delightful village, full of charm, but sufficiently detached from some of the crowds that inhabit other places nearby during busy periods. We have spent a lot of time and money in doing the whole house up and modernising it. However we felt it was important to still keep a traditional feel, therefore much of the old furniture around the house especially in the living room is from our parents home. We hope that you feel at home here and enjoy the house as much as we both do when we stay!

Facilities

From the Owner

We love the fact that the property is set back from the main road up a quiet lane. There are plenty of parking spaces. The village green and village pub are only a few minutes walk away, and the stream and pond are ideal attractions for young children. The house itself receives lots of natural light and all the appliances are brand new and of a high standard. There is outdoor space to the front and in the rear garden which can be used for relaxing and eating.
