Mill Cottage is situated just off the High Street. It is newly refurbished, with modern kitchen/dining room, luxury lounge with log burner and downstairs cloakroom/toilet/utility room. It has central heating. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double bed. There is a new bathroom with separate, stand-alone shower. Outside there is a private courtyard garden,with summer house and garden furniture which is perfect for summer dining. Parking is to the front of the house.

Mill Cottage is within an hour of the beautiful Suffolk coast line including Aldeburgh, Southwold, Woodbridge and Snape


Mill Cottage is about 1 hour from Stansted Airport and about 1 hour from Felixstowe and Harwich ports


The market towns of Sudbury (approximately 3 miles) and Bury St Edmunds (approximately 10 miles) are nearby. Cambridge is about one hour away. There are some beautiful, historic villages of interest including Clare, Long Melford and Cavendish - these are all within 20 minutes drive

Further Details:

There is a Co-Op and plenty of small trader shops selling local produce. There is a famous restaurant called the Great House and Marco Pierre White has recently taken over the Angel Hotel in the village square. Lavenham is a medieval village and there are guided walks to help you learn all about your surroundings. The church stands magnificently at the top of the hill. There are many tea shops from where you can enjoy an afternoon cream tea or lunch. There are lots of places of interest to visit such as the Guildhall and galleries and individual shops to while-away the day

    £100 deposit is required to confirm the booking and then the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival

    Changeover Day:
    Change over day is normally Saturday, but this is flexible to suit guest's requirements

    Notes on prices:
    The prices range from £400 to £600 per week
    Short breaks are also available for 3/4 nights and the prices range from £300 to £450

There is always a welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolates and a bottle of wine. There is always someone on hand to help with anything that you require to support your pleasant stay
