Cosy 4 Bedroom Apartment in Meribel Village, ski-in ski-out feature, three private balconies and expansive views

Meribel Ski is a privately owned 4 bedroom, second floor apartment situated in the renowned luxury 4-star Les Fermes de Meribel building, in the heart of Meribel Village.

It is situated on the second floor with 3 balconies, giving it a spacious, bright and sunny feel.

The interior is very comfortable and well equipped and has recently been refurbished.

The lounge includes a 40 inch flat screen tv with a DVD player and internet is available.

The apartment has two toilets, 1 bath/ shower room and 2 en suite shower/basin rooms.

There is access to coin operated laundry downstairs in addition to a heated swimming pool and sauna.

Meribel Village has its own bakery, spar, ski hire, ski shop, ladies/kids clothing shop, 2 restaurants and a pub, with a free bus running all day into the night enabling access into neighbouring areas.

Hi, my name is Christie and I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have been involved with property and letting/ tourism for a number of years and I know what people are looking for and what people want. I take pride in doing my best to make sure everything is organised and everything runs smoothly. I am also always available to assist wherever I can with ski hire, restaurants, what to do, transport, shopping etc..

The apartment is managed so if there are any problems, you have somebody there to assist you.

Why The Owner chose Meribel

We are keen skiers and have been looking to buy in a ski area for at least 10 years and finally discovered Meribel. We bought in Meribel Village as it ticks all the boxes.

It is ski in/ ski out so no walking or buses needed to get to the ski lift.

It has everything one needs on a daily basis - a spar, an incredible bakery, pub, casual restaurant/ coffee shop and smarter restaurant, ski shop, boutique and ski hire.

Free bus runs all day long and into the night connecting you to all the neighbouring resorts. It is perfect for children as they can go into central town safely and get home safely, without parents having to worry.

The centre is very noisy and busy, so one can go there for dinner/ clubbing, but can then return to peace, quiet and a good nights sleep!

What makes this apartment unique

The Three Vallées boasts being the largest ski area in the world, and is perfect for skiers of all capabilities. If you are not a skier, there are many other activities available, such as swimming, ice-skating, indoor rock-climbing, bowling, shopping and much more! The Three Vallées is also world renowned for their amazing gastronomy, and is able to stake claim to twelve Michelin-starred restaurants. The resort is also perfect for relaxing summer getaways, with endless activities ranging from cycling to horse riding through the mountains. On 11 July 2015 Meribel will also be hosting the “3 Valleés Addict tour,” a mountain biking competition open to all. Our apartment is situated within a large well-run block of apartments called Les Fermes de Meribel. It has access to a heated swimming pool and sauna. There is also a spa downstairs and a coin operated laundry. We have just renovated the entire apartment, including all the woodwork, painting. New furniture has also been added. The property is managed so if you require any extras, we would most likely be able to arrange it for you.

Everything fantastic!

We stayed here as a group of eight adults and everything was perfect. The chalet is really cosy, warm and you can feel like home here. The kitchen come living room has everything in it you could need... fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook, big couch and tv & lovely balconies off the living area. Bedrooms are perfect - two nice doubles and two bunk rooms. If you had children you could definitely accomodate ten people. The chalet is in an incredible location. You are only two minutes to the Golf chair lift in the morning and there is an easy blue run if you wanted to ski home pretty much right to the building. Meribel village is a great location. The bar in the village is really lively - music most nights, good apres ski and always a good atmosphere. There is a supermarket and bakery right beside the chalet also. The bus is very convenient also. It runs very frequently and only take 5 or 10 minutes into Meribel centre. Jeanie the owner is so helpful and any requests were no problem. She was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations for planning our trip. I would definitely stay here again I couldn't fault anything!

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is accessed by stairs or by a lift. It has access to a heated pool and sauna, a coin operated laundry downstairs and a spa downstairs as well. The 4 bedrooms are best suited for 2 or 3 couples with their children. There are 2 main bedrooms each with an en suite shower and basin. The 3rd bedroom has a double bed top bunk (perfect for a couple or 2 kids) and a single bed below. There is a large built in cupboard. The 4th bedroom has a double bunk and an extra mattress underneath if required, sleeping up to 3 people as well. There is a large free standing cupboard in this room. The entrance house a very large cupboard and lots of hooks on which to hang you jackets. The lounge/dining/kitchen is surprisingly spacious with 2 balconies. It has a lounge suite plus 2 small chairs and a coffee table. There are 2 dining tables, one seating 10 and the other 4/6. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the basics. Outside: The apartment block is usually surrounded by snow and is in the middle of the village with the ski lift and run directly in front of you, so it is virtually ski in /ski out. No buses needed to get to the lift. There is a balcony off the main bedroom and a further 2 balconies off the lounge area, one with table and chairs. You can watch your family and friends walk to the lift , as well as ski back in. There is a lovely large restaurant/pub outside in the centre of the village, as you ski back down the home slope, perfect for lunch or après ski. Utility Room: A ski locker is available. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. Final clean is included. extra cleaning can be organised at an extra cost. Other: The entrance hall has a large cupboard and plenty of hanging shelves.
