It's central location, means that all Newquay's amenities (bars, restaurants, shops and transport) are just a short walk from the property. Likewise many of Newquay's famous beaches and attractions (water park, zoo, boating lake, aquarium, horse riding, fishing, surfing and many more) are also within walking distance, perfect for a stress free family holiday, leaving the car at home.

This spacious house is well designed, with large doors leading from the kitchen/dining area out to the patio, perfect for inside/outside living and dining. The patio looks over the well kept lawned garden, ideal for watching the children play.

Notes on accommodation: Newly decorated with cosy/cottage style decor. Outside: The kitchen/dining room has large double doors, leading out onto a pretty patio area at the rear of the house. The patio is equipped with table and chairs and looks out over the private, enclosed garden, which has a large lawned area. There is a gas BBQ and plenty of deckchairs for you to relax in. Outside there is storage for sports equipment (surfboards, fishing rods etc). There is also a washing line for clothes and wetsuits. The property has a driveway for two cars. There is parking on the road, if you had a third car or your third car could always be parked across the front of the driveway if necessary. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All Bed linen and towels are included and beds will be made up ready for your arrival. For guests staying longer than one week, bed linen and towels will be changed weekly. Beach/swimming towels are not provided. Other: The dining room is an open plan room adjoining the kitchen, and is also a relaxing bright space, with patio doors leading out to the garden. There is a large farmhouse style dining room table in the centre, which seats 6 comfortably.

A wonderful house in a perfect location

After many visits to Newquay we found the perfect place to stay. A beautiful house situated only two mins walk away from the beach and in walking distance to shops and the town centre. The house is spacious with a beautiful garden... the pictures really do not do it justice. There's parking space for two cars which is welcoming in Cornwall and it is situated in the perfect spot for any of the attractions in Newquay. Truro and St Ives are only 45mins away in the car. We had a fantastic stay despite the weather and to top it off the owners are lovely.

Lovely spacious family home

A wonderful property with a lovely garden too. Very spacious but yet it had a lovely cosy feel. A short walk to the town & beaches of Newquay, so perfectly placed for our family. It would be a pleasure to stay here again. The house had absolutely everything we needed for a great holiday.

Great location and a great holiday home.

The place was an absolute joy from the moment we were greeted by the owners, who showed us round the property.

Everything we needed to be in a home from home.

Little personal touches like fresh flowers in the living room and kitchen.

My grandaughter loved the tree house.

We also chilled in the deckchairs on a beautiful garden in the late afternoon some days.

The kitchen was very spacious, although we only cooked once during our stay.

The living room is very, warm and homely.

All in all a very pleasant holiday

Great house & great location

This house has everything you need and in a great location. Tolcarne beach is a few minutes away, the town is a short walk and so is the Zoo.

The house has 3 bedrooms, a comfortable lounge , a great kitchen and lovely garden. The owners were very nice and helpful meeting us quickly on arrival and checking everything was ok several times during our stay.

I recommend this house and hope to stay there again one day.

Perfect - highly recommended

This was our second stay in this property and once again, we had a brilliant week!

The house is beautifully decorated, light and spacious. Everything you need is provided; we were very comfortable there. The open plan layout downstairs is perfect for our family of 5. The children loved playing in the secure garden and tree house again during this visit.

The location of the property is perfect, Tolcarne beach is at the end of the road and shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.

The owners of this property are really lovely! They were there to greet us on arrival and checked we had everything we needed.

An all round perfect stay in this property once again! :) Thank you very much! :)

Lovely house and great location

The pictures don't do the house justice. Lovely, warm feeling, with everything you would need. Great location to the town and beach literally at the end of the street (although it is down lots of stairs - the path was being repaired while we were there) Warm friendly meet and greet with Clive who was more than happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend and return.

Beaches are at the heart of Newquay, there are 8 beaches in total, 4 of which are within easy walking distance of the property. Tolcarne beach and the southwest coast path is situated at the end of the road, just a 2 minute walk from the property.

All the beaches offer long stretches of fine golden sand and are lifeguarded during summer for your peace of mind. Newquay is also famous for its surfing, with consistent waves and a fantastic array of beaches to suit the differing tides.


The nearest airport is Newquay airport, just 5 miles away (15 minutes driving) or for more international flights, Exeter airport is 80 miles away (1.5 hours driving).

The nearest channel crossing port is Plymouth is 50 miles away (1 hours driving)

The nearest train station is Newquay train station just 300 meters from the property (5 minutes walk).

Once in Newquay use of a car is not essential.


National Trust village of Crantock 3.5 miles away - rated by the BBC series 'Coast' as Britain’s number 1 beach.

Both Dairyland Theme Park and the Lappa Valley Steam Railway are 4.5 miles & offer a great day out for children.

Quaint fishing towns of Padstow is 16 miles or St Ives 30 miles away.

The cathedral town of Truro is 13 miles away with excellent shopping, museums, and restaurants.

The world famous Eden Project is 20 miles away and the lost gardens of Helligan are 18 miles away.

Newquay is well equipped with all the amenities you will need, including plenty of banks, supermarkets, chemists, doctors and more.

Newquay has plenty of activities to keep any family busy, including fishing trips, coasteering, surfing lessons, crabbing, S.U.P boarding trips, horse riding on the beach and many more, however there are also plenty of day trip options for those who would like to venture further afield.

Local places of interest include the neighbouring village of Crantock - This quintessential village has a tea room, a 400 year old pub and a stunning National Trust beach.

Or just a little further along the stunning coastline is the picturesque harbour town of Padstow, where you can sample Ricks Stein's delights or for the more adventurous, take a speed boat ride out to sea or take a ride on the "Jubilee Queen" to see the puffins on "Puffin Island".

A little further is Falmouth (23 miles away), with a fantastic maritime museum and plenty of opportunities for windsurfing, kayaking and sailing.

St Ives, is a beautiful Cornish coastal town (30 miles) where you can wander through the artistic shops, visit the Tate Gallery or the Barbara Hepworth Museum, or just enjoy the atmosphere with an ice cream by the beach.

Cornwall also has plenty of attractions. Why not visit the Poldark Mines (24 miles) or The famous Eden project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, many National Trust Houses or take a ride over to St Michael Mount in Penzance (32 miles).

The well known Minack Theatre (42 miles), has a number of outdoor performances over the summer months, performed infront of a stunning backdrop of dramatic cliffs and rolling waves.

Children will also have plenty to do at the wide variety of theme parks including Dairyland (4.5 miles) or Flambards, Helston (27 miles) or a visit to The Seal Sanctuary, Helston (27 miles), where children can feed the seals everyday, or visit the Lappa Valley Steam Railway just 4.5 miles away.

A booking deposit of £200 is requested at time of booking in order to secure your booking. Full payment is then requested 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. The £200 booking deposit is then kept as a security deposit, and returned to you within 3 working days from the end of your holiday.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or by cheque.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is Saturday.

Arrival time is from 3pm onwards and we ask guests to leave by 10am on the day of departure.
