Air-conditioned throughout with underfloor heating for the colder months. A spacious 2-bedroomed apartment, spotlessly clean and with amazing views from the balcony. Large pool and smaller children's pool on site. Close to safe beaches. The apartment is very well equipped for up to six persons with a bed settee for 5th/6th persons. It has a well-stocked kitchen, laundry area with washing machine and large sink, plus 2 bathrooms. Excellent for families, a great getaway for couples, and with all the facilities and comfort needed for a longer stay.

Comments: From enquiry to booking of the apartment everything went extremely smoothly. Ann provided details of what to expect and the apartment's personalised website showed in great detail the facilities available. The apartment was very homely and fitted comfortably five adults. Beach chairs and mats are provided for you to take with you on your travels. The location of the apartment was fantastic, five minutes from the bus stop and a beach. The mud beach is about 10 minutes walk away and 20 minutes walk to the marina.

I loved the meet and greet service that Ann has, you're met by a lady called Jo who provides you with an overall of everything available in the local area and places to eat. The apartment has wifi, tv, stereo, books and DVDs so plenty to keep anyone entertained. Also there was no issue getting our security deposit back after we had returned

I had a truly enjoyable experience at this property and only hope I can return again as it was such good value for money. October 2013

Comments: Lovely apartment and stunning location between Mediterraean and Mar Menor seas. Ideal for walking and swimming.Great for relaxing holiday. Apartment very well appointed and comfortable with lovely view of marina and great for boat watching as boats go up and down waterway. Supermarket very close to apartment with a bigger one 15 minute walk away close to Thomas Maestre Marina.We hired a car for convenience although buses do seem to go up and down the Strip about hourly.We travelled by car to Los Nietos and travelled by train to Cartagena, which saved any hasse in parking car in Cartagena or negotiating city by car. Also enjoyed ferry to Santago de la Ribera.

The apartment was lovely, it was immaculate, it had everything we needed and more it was spacious and very light and airy also loved the fact that all the rooms had a balcony, definitely want to rent it again felt so at home.

The views from the balcony were amazing and so much to watch on the busy waterway, loved it. Lovely location, for us it was perfect can't wait to return.

Lovely views from balcony & bedrooms

Great for rest and relaxation. Requires a car as location is relatively remote. Nice, friendly and helpful owner and property manager. Apartment was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money.

The apartment was lovely. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning, probably the best on La Manga strip. The meet and greet person was great and had lots of local knowledge. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area.

Smashing apartment with great views over the harbour and Mar Menor.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed 5 days in the apartment over New Year 2015/16.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy and well appointed throughout.

The views from the balcony look out of the harbour/marina and is a perfect sun trap in the morning and great for watching the sun set over Mar Menor in the evening.

A convenient Spar supermarket is only a minutes walk away and there are a selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Ann (The Owner) and Jo (Local Managing Agent) couldn't be any more helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

We will certainly be going back.

Good sized and well kept apartment with lovely views of the harbour area.

La Manga strip was very quiet over the Christmas period. Only one restaurant and one supermarket open within walking distance. We had a car and and found this extremely useful. Busses are still operating up and down the strip, and there was a little more open nearer the beginning of the strip.

The apartment had everything needed for a holiday, and was well maintained. There is a selection of English books, DVDs and CDs to borrow. Wifi was fast and efficient and tv had quite a few English channels if you wanted them.

It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, but neither are en-suite. One is opposite the bedrooms with bath and shower over, and the other is through the lounge and hall and has a shower. This makes is versitile but not nessesarily private. For the winter, the underfloor heating was lovely. Warm tiled floors throughout made it feel really cosy. Air-conditioning was also available. Altogether a lovely place to stay during the winter months providing you understand La Manga strip is pretty quiet.

Great place to stay

The apartment is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It has a lovely view of the canal that links the mar menor to the med so you can watches the boats entering and exiting the marina while eating on the balcony . Very close to the med beach and the mar menor beach. Restaurants are all a short walkable distance . Very easy to book with ann as well. The apartment is perfect for two adults and two children.

The complex is very clean also. We had a fantastic time and will look to book again next year.

From the Owner

As soon as we saw where the apartment was being built, we decided that we had to have it for the views of the water and boats, and for the quiet and peaceful complex with a lovely pool. We bought off-plan in 2003 and couldn't wait to move in in 2006, furnishing it for our own comfort throughout the year. Once you cross over the bridge to our part of the La Manga strip it is a different world. The apartment is at the km 14 marker (as measured from the start of the strip), with a selection of restaurants, a couple of bars, and a pharmacy. A 20 minute walk takes you to a wide selection of restaurants and bars at the Marina. If you want bustling night-life you only have to drive a few kilometres down "the Strip" for late night markets, bars and a casino. There is a regular local bus to Cabo de Palos and to Cartegena, so a car is not essential although very useful for sampling the different beaches along the Strip with a wide selection of water sports.

Booking Notes:
A charge of £60 payable in advance for Meet and Greet and final clean has been included in the weekly price quoted. This is a one-off fee irrespective of the length of the booking. There is an additional charge of £10 per person if the bed-settee is used for 5th/6th persons. All guests are met at the apartment, and this is included in the cost for all daytime arrivals. If your arrival is after 10pm but before midnight €25 is payable locally and if your arrival is after midnight €50 is payable locally.

Changeover Day:
You may book from any day to any day. Arrival time at apartment 3pm. Departure time from apartment 10am. If you have late flight, consider booking the additional day to have the use of the apartment until you leave for the airport. Or if you have an early flight, book from the previous day to arrive straight from the airport.

Notes on prices:
Bookings are taken to and from any day of the week, and for how many days you require - minimum 3 days. Discounts are available for bookings of over 14 days and there are sometimes late booking offers available. Longer bookings are accepted, and bookings of 3 weeks or over are negotiable on price.

From the Owner

We love waking up in the morning and seeing the boats pass by under our balcony on their way to and from the Mediterranean, and walking along the promenade to the lighthouse - a regular morning walk for us. And then stopping off at the Panaderia (local baker) for fresh bread and pastries and a coffee. It is so peaceful and relaxing that we sometimes have to drag ourselves away to return to the UK! The choice of restaurants in the Marina and also close to the apartment make eating out a pleasure.

  • Outside: The apartment is in a small complex which has a large shared unheated pool plus a small toddlers' pool in grassed surroundings. There is also a paddle-tennis court. Utility Room: Washing machine (1200rpm spin speed installed July 2014), large deep sink, ironing board and steam iron Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom towels and bed linen are included in the cost. Guests are requested to bring their own beach towels. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned between guests and the beds made ready by our local English-speaking manager/housekeeper.
