Excellent introduction to an area of France we didn't know. Easy drive from San Malo. Ray and Lynne so welcoming. Bertie, our dog, enjoyed the company of Scruff and Bella. The children enjoyed the pool and weather. Lots of fun, thanks!

A very comfortable property, lots of wood left to use on the huge stove, which was topped up for the first frost of the year. Beds were very comfortable and house. Was well equipped.

Peaceful gite set in rural France

  • 4 of 5

The gite was very nice with everything we needed including a log fire for the cool evenings. In fact were moved from the other gite so we could have a fire! The owners were welcoming and aimed to help us have a memorable holiday. Sadly the equipment provided both in the kitchen/ diner and outside were not up to the standard we expected. The cutlery and crockery were miss matched and the loungers were not very comfortable. If these things were to be addressed a score of 5 would be possible. I hope this is helpful.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We are sorry the equipment provided did not meet your expectations. We aim to ask all out guests on their first morning if everything is ok for them and at several points throughout their stay. This gives guests the opportunity to mention any aspect of the accommodation with which they are not completely satisfied. We would very much prefer that guests tell us of any cause for dissatisfaction while they are here to give us the opportunity to rectify the problem, we live here and would always do our best to accommodate requests for improvement at the time. We have noted your comments and thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.

  • 5 of 5

The lodge was perfect for our family, very comfortable and spacious. The grounds , garden and pool, were beautiful and provided hours of fun for the children. We would definitely consider staying at Les Jardin des Arts if we visit the region again. Thank you Lynne and Ray for your kind hospitality.

Lovely cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

My two teenage daughters and I had a lovely holiday in the Cottage in July. My daughters especially appreciated the WIFI and the pool. Our hosts, Ray and Lynne, were welcoming and extremely helpful, recommending places to go and places to eat. The garden is beautiful with plenty of space for young kids to run around and play. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a holiday destination to my friends.
