The cottage is constructed of locally mined stone with walls nearly 2 foot thick. The kitchen boasts the original stone fireplace which houses the oven. About the Owner

My name is Marianne Elgin, i am 41 yrs old married and have a daughter called Fleur aged 10 yrs. I have been running holiday cottages for 2 years and Storehouse is my second cottage. I believe in providing a quality house which is spotless for my guests. I also believe that little extras are important to enhancing the holiday my guests expect. I provide a full welcome pack which normally includes a home-made cake as I know this is very much appreciated. I am very accommodating and if i can do anything to assist either before or during your stay i will try my utmost to assist. My other cottage New Terrace Cottage.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just to say a big thank you, we had a lovely time at your cottage this weekend. All the extra little things made a big difference to us our youngest son is severly disabled and arriving so late Friday evening was made so much easier with cake you left and DVDs for him to watch. (Jan 2014)

Cosy cottage for a quiet break

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time in North Wales. The cottage was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and heading over to Anglesey. We were welcomed warmly with supplies and, despite it not really being cold enough, the stove was lit every night which the dogs loved sitting beside. Overall a really good break and we'd definitely like to visit again! Thank you, Caroline and Leo

very good cottage in North Wales

  • 5 of 5

Clean, well maintained off the beaten track cottage, with excellent views of the surrounding countryside + 3 TVs & WIFI (though not always brilliant reception for WIFI). 20 minutes from Llandudno and other resorts even closer. Just a very enjoyable, comfortable and convenient base.

Beautiful property, clean and welcoming, little extras (logs, milk, biscuits, butter, jam, crumpets) were great! Well equipped with everything you need. Two bedrooms were good, but we found matrasses too spongy for our liking. Little bedroom with bunk bed is good if you have two little children but our 18 years old son did struggle with it.

Cottage stay

  • 4 of 5

Great cottage and surroundings. Weather perfect. Only fault was size of third bedroom ,too small for 21year old daughters liking. It was a good hours walk to the beach each morning with our dog and he also enjoyed the walk on mountain behind cottage, as did we. The garden was beautiful too and we spent several evenings chilling in the evening sunshine.

Most Beautiful cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with this cottage. Great location and very quiet.

Very clean and welcoming. We were left everything we could need on our first night. And the owners left us a large pack of biscuits crumpets and welsh cakes., which was a lovley touch.

Comfy beds, and a well kept garden.

I will say if you have children under 5, the steps leading upto the garden are a little dangerous and they will need to be kept a eye on.

Overall we would defintley stay here again and have already recommended to friends. We also will miss the cat over the way, of whom we had stay with us from time to time.
