Bungalow in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Situated On The Coast 100 Metres Walk To The Nearest Beach

Our villa is a spacious bungalow having an apex roof which gives the place a light, cool and airy atmosphere. The lounge includes a flat screen TV, 3 seater framed sofabed and comfortable armchair, coffee table and two side tables. Leading from the lounge area there is a mirrored cupboard which conceals a double pull down bed.

In the kitchen, which is fully fitted and equipped, there are fridge freezer, wine rack, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle, 4 ring ceramic hob, oven and all necessary crockery utensils cutlery etc. The area leading to the vanity room houses two large storage cupboards for storing clothing and luggage. Vanity/dressing area: double basin, hairdryer and full length mirror. Bathroom: bath/shower, bidet and toilet. Bedroom: Double bed 2 bedside tables and large wall to wall wadrobes. WIFI available. Patio: Table and chairs, sun-loungers.

Please note this is a non smoking villa.

Our family has now grown up and left the nest but with recent arrivals of grandchildren we hope to enjoy them as best we can by holidaying with them on our chosen resort of Sands Beach on which our villa is situated

We hope you like the description of our villa which we have owned now for 9 years and purchased after falling in love with the island of Lanzarote and the complex our villa is on and were compelled to purchase our special place in the sun.

Excellent - good place to relax

We are in our late 70s and stayed at this property for two weeks. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We would recommend it and stay there again. Everything on-site.

Hi ,Just a quick note to say that this property in del sol was everything you will need for your holiday.The villa was immaculate and well equipped with every thing you need and i mean everything, even a washing machine which was very useful.Great location and i have to say the best in sands beach.For family's with young children there is a play ground just out side the villa were you can keep an eye on your children while you relax by the pool .Plenty of restaurants with very good food or if you like to cook inn there are plenty of supermarkets near by .water park is near by if you have bigger children only 4 euro in a taxi ,golf course is also near by.over all highly recommend this property and would definitely go back,

Enjoyed Stay

Well maintained, comfortable and and ideally positioned for the "Charcos" beach and 10 minutes from the main "Cucharas" beach.

The villa was right next to the children's playground, which could occasionally be a little noisy when seated in the terrace area, but ideal for those with young kids who, whilst playing, could be watched over from the terrace.

Wi-fi cost was approx. £20 for a week.

We enjoyed our stay there, but tended to spend a lot of time out and about the island, so didn't use the complex's facilities which looked good.

We purchased our villa because of its prime location with sea views and direct access from the patio area straight on to the pool edge. The villa is a large comfortable one bedroom luxury villa with a south facing patio for al-fresco dining which gets all the afternoon sun until sunset. Even in high season you will never feel overcrowded as the resort is split into 7 separate plazas each with its own pool. Costa Tequise is situated on the coast in the central part of the island and is one of Lanzarotes main tourist resorts within easy access of the airport which is a 20minute drive away and is a a convenient place to explore the island

Nearest Airport : at 20 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 20 Metres Nearest Golf : at 3 Kilometres Nearest Beach : at 300 Metres Car: not necessary


The coast is only 100meters from the complex where there are number of beaches to be found in Costa Tequise, Playa Cucharas being the most popular which is approximately 500 meters away with the less populated Los Charcos beach directly outside the complex.


Arrecife airport is only a 20 minute drive from the resort, 20 euro in a taxi or car hire is readily available either at the airport or in the resort of Costa Tequise.

AutoReisin at the airport appear to be the best priced and typical rental charges for a small 4 door car are around 14 euro per day


Costa Tequise is situated in an ideal place to explore the island, the old town of Tequise is 15 minute drive or bus journey away. The Sunday market is very popular for those interested in browsing and purchasing souvenirs.

The capital of Arrecife is accessible by the local bus service as is the more bustling resort of Puerto Del Carmen for those interested in more 'lively' nightlife.

Further Details:

Costa Tequise is well supplied with Supermarkets and the complex itself has its own open until midnight.

Being on the north of the island Costa Tequise is within easy reach of the tourist attractions of Ceasar Manrique's Cacti Garden, Cesear Manrique being the father architect of the island who prevented the building of high rise tourist accommodation which may seen on other Canarian islands.

La Cueva Los Verdes is an interesting volcanic cave system with an interesting optical illusion at the tour end, whilst nearby you may visit Jameos Del Aqua whih is home to the worlds only albino crabs.

Costa Tequise also has the islands only Aqua Park, 5 minutes in a taxi.

Also on the island there are attractions at Guinate Tropical Park, Rancho Texas. At Timanfaya National Park you may take a coach ride and experience the lunar landscape of volcanic destruction and whist on the way stop off to experience a camel ride experience.

For the wine tasters amongst you a visit to the islands wine producing area, La Geria, is recommended, where you may sample the local wines at the various Bodegas along the way.

Costa Tequise is well served by beaches with various activities available from wind surfing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, snorkelling and of course just relaxing. Cycling is also popular on the island and the complex offers the facility to hire bikes if required.

For the shoppers Costa tequise has numerous souvenir type shops, jewelers, perfumeries with most tastes catered for.

Night life in Costa Tequise is not rowdy and tends to lean towards eating out, although there are a number of nightclubs and plenty of bars.

Costa Tequise is suitable for couples, families, golfers and sporting types.

From the Owner

Our villa is situated on the popular Del Sol Plaza and leads directly from the patio onto the newly installed Infinity pool. The villa has been tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard having everything you need for a perfect self catering holiday including a fully fitted kitchen. Dining table and chairs are also provided for more formal dining as an alternative to al fresco on the patio if required. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 4 people with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, double pull down bed in the living area (behind mirrored doors) and also a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. The complex is situated directly on the coast and the nearest beach of Los Charcos only a 100 metre walk away and a wide variety of restaurants within easy walking distance.

The patio area has patio table and chairs with sunloungers, the patio itself leads directly onto the plaza and is only a few metres from the pool itself. The new Infinity Pool was installed on Del Sol Plaza only in 2012 and is the prize of the complex. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean towels provided with a linen/towel change and clean mid booking if staying two weeks. Beach towels are not provided but may be hired from the complex. Other: Storage area walk through includes stored iron and ironing board.
