Apartment in Les Deux Alpes, Isere, Rhone-Alpes, France - Right At The Bottom Of The Vikings Nursery Slopes And No More Than 100m From Shops & Bars

The apartment is over 70sqm. It has been largely refurbished over the last two years, including re-vamped bathroom and full phonic double glazing throughout.

It has two very big bedrooms, with separate living room and galley kitchen, which has been refurbished in November 2016. The kitchen has all the things you would expect to find in a normal kitchen, including a full sized oven.

It is large, airy and comfortable with everything you need for a wonderful holiday, the complete antithesis of the normal ski apartment.

The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over, a washbasin and a toilet. there is also a second, separate toilet.

One bedroom has a king size double bed, and the other has 4 bunk beds. they are both very large rooms with lots of storage.

There is a very large walk-in cupboard in the hall, and the huge wrap around balcony faces south and also west for the best of the sun.

Our mother bought the apartment when it was built for our family holidays, and there have now been 3 generations of our family holidaying in the 'A'. We have all loved it through the years, and our mother's great-grandchildren are now starting to ski too.

What makes this apartment unique

What we have with this property is size and light. Lots of space and lots of light with the huge french windows in 4 rooms.

Of course it's also very convenient to the nursery slopes for novice skiers, to shops, ski hire, restaurants and it's not far to bars either!

What more can we say? We love it, and hopefully you will too.

Nearest Barpub : Home at 20 Metres Nearest Golf : Golf des Deux Alpes at 150 Metres Nearest Train : Grenoble at 80 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : L'Entracte Nearest Ski : Vikings at 50 Metres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

It would be possible to combine this apartment rental with ski lessons for the week.

Downhill mountain biking is very popular in the summer, and there is room on the balcony to store the bikes.

Of course all normal mountain activities are also catered for in the town.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Grenoble which has very good transfer links during the winter season.

Lyon airport also has good public transport links to Grenoble and thence on to resort.

Chambery airport is a possibility in winter, although the public transport is not so good from there. Car hire would be an option though.

Geneva airport is also possible. There are buses to Grenoble every 2 hours from there, however that journey can take time, and car hire would be advised

Grenoble airport is approx 120Kms

Lyon airport is approx 180Kms

Refundable Damage Deposit £303
Stay tax €1 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the manager upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 13 years.

Booking Notes:
In the first instance bookings should be made by email through this website. After discussion, and completion of the booking form then a non-refundable deposit of €300 is required. The balance payment is due 8 weeks before your holiday.

Once you have arrived in resort, a cash deposit of £/€350 IN CASH will be held, and will be refunded in full at the end of your stay providing the apartment is left as it was found.

Changeover Day:
Most changeovers are on a Saturday, but it possible to do alternative days in low season.
Arrivals are between 15.00 & 21.00 and departures are between 07.00 & 10.00. Earlier/later arrivals/departures require an additional charge of €20 for unsocial hours.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: This apartment has been in the same family since it was built, and they have enjoyed it now through 3 generations. It's had a partial refurbishment in autumn 2013 to bring it up to decent specifications. New in 2014 is a second toilet in the refurbished bathroom, and phonic double glazing to all the windows. In November 2016 we have refreshed the paintwork in the hall, walk-in cupboard and all the doors + refurbed the kitchen It's really a lovely, light, airy apartment - so unusual in ski resorts. Outside: There is a large area of lawn just to the left of the building, and a smaller area with some trees in front of it. The apartment has a very large wrap-around balcony. Utility Room: There is a large walk-in cupboard in the hall Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and towel packs are available to rent. Bedlinen is obligatory, but towels are not. Cleaning is not included, and guests are expected to leave the apartment as they found it, materials are supplied, and final day clean is available on request.
