Lovely mountain views, in a quiet residential area with a large communal pool for our guests to enjoy. This modern villa has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bright open plan dining/living space & a brand new kitchen, all complete with modern furniture. You can relax on the roof top terrace, looking out to the great views across the mountains, with all day sun! There is also a large balcony off of the living space for al-fresco dining, complete with a gas BBQ and lovely views over the gardens. Ideally located 8 minutes walk from the stunning bay of El Portet and just a pleasant 15 minute walk into Moraira, with its many restaurants and shops. Free WI FI is available around the swimming pool area or can be connected to the villa for a small fee.

I am a happily married 52 year old mother of 2 wonderful boys and we have been enjoying fabulous holidays in this unspoilt area of Spain since purchasing the villa in January 2011. An absolute gem!

We were so pleased to open the door of Casa de Paz and see the clean, modern interior. It was exactly as we had envisaged from the photographs

Everything was high quality and pleasing, from the contemporary, tasteful decor, to the extremely well equipped kitchen. It was also spotlessly clean.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.

There was ample outdoor space, which we were able to enjoy to the full, due to the particularly good weather for the time of year. In the 20s for most of the week!

The villa occupies a lovely position and it was a delight to eat breakfast on the terrace, listening to, and watching the birds in the pine trees.

It was probably a little early in the season to get much use from the pool, which was a short walk away, but it was so warm and looked so inviting that I took the plunge! Again, a beautifully maintained area and quite a suntrap.

El Portet is a delightful village, the beach was quite lovely, with a restaurant, cafe bar and seating areas on the promenade.

Moraira is a further 10 minute walk, and is a lively town with many excellent restaurants and shops.

We particularly liked restaurant Le Soleil, the Sunday lunch was very good, and Kostas was just superb, fine dining but at a very reasonable price. We also ate at La Boheme, the menu del dias was very good value and the service was good.

We enjoyed walking the hills and driving the coast road to Calpe and other nearby resorts.

I have to say that the communication between the owners, Ann and Mark was excellent, nothing was left to chance and we felt confident in our booking.

It was a lovely holiday and we would definitely recommend to our family and friends.

We would love to return some time soon.

This is a fabulous villa in a pretty area.

We had a great holiday and didn't want to leave. The villa is spotless and the owners have made it home from home. They have also added a seating area in the garden which is lovely and cool in the evenings.The pool is fab and it's a short walk to the beach, an excellent restaurant and good local deli. Aqualandia is a water park about 40 mins drive away but an excellent day out. Also some lovely restaurants in Moraira, it took about 25 mins to walk there as it was very hot, we got a taxi back and it was only 7euros. We will definitely return to the villa and would recommend it to other families.

Beautiful villa,great location

This villa was exactly as described in ownersdirect, beautifully furnished, really comfortable which made our stay even more enjoyable. Spotlessly clean, with cava, water and milk on arrival. The location is great, lovely walk to the sandy and unspoilt El portet beach and coastal walk to moraira town. The bars and restaurants at El Portet were great too. We would love to re-visit and would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely Villa Paz

We loved our two weeks in the villa as it was exactly what we hoped it would be from the photos and description on the website. In fact it was actually better! Lots of space on the terrace and rooftop with all day sun. The furnishings were spotlessly clean and comfortable and it was a pleasure to relax there in the evenings after a busy day enjoying ourselves!

Wonderful holiday

Have just returned after a month in this lovely villa. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Cleanest holiday let I've ever stayed in, and that is a lot. Everything sparkled like new. Balcony and roof terrace a suntrap even in February. Very comfortable and lovely location, very quiet this time of year, and only complaint is that we had to come home.

We recently bought this pretty villa after my son holidayed in Moraira and enjoyed the great location. El portet is a picturesque and shallow secluded beach resort in a sheltered bay, within walking distance of central Moraira. Both El Portet and Moraira are elegant resorts that have been spared of the over-development of many other towns along the Costa Blanca. The beautiful crystal clear waters and mountains are bordered by lush groves of almond and orange, vine and olive trees. Within walking distance of the pretty bay of El portet and Moraira town centre you can leave the car behind and enjoy a drink with your evening meal or at one of the many bars.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The beach at El Portet is one of the two main beaches in Moraira, both awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. Favoured by families, it has a gentle slope into the water, which is wonderfully warm, clean and beautiful and very safe for family bathing. Ideal for children and is backed by a handful of beach bars that serve food and drink.

The main beach at Moraira is L'Ampolla where soft golden sands shelve gently into clean shallow water, perfect for families with young children.

Further Details:

Only a thirty minute drive away are four exciting and fun family theme parks. “Terra Mitica” (owned and operated by Paramount), “Aqualandia” Water Park, “ Mundomar” (Spain's answer to Sea World) and Terra Natura, a new generation wildlife park. Also within easy driving distance is Vergel Safari Park near Denia.

Surrounded by magnificent mountains, the local Jalon Valley is known as The Valley of Wine. There are at least three bodegas (vineyards) where you can spend many a leisurely hour sampling the various wines. In late January the whole of the valley is covered with almond blossom; one can only describe the view as a magnificent blanket of pink and white. Well worth a visit.

El Portet:

A picturesque and shallow secluded beach resort in a sheltered bay, within walking distance of central Moraira. Both El Portet and Moraira are elegant resorts that have been spared of the over-development of many other towns along the Costa Blanca.

Moraira:

The luscious green countryside surrounding the town is dotted with whitewashed luxury villas mingling with pine woods, cultivated vine terraces and orange groves. This provides an idyllic setting for families or couples wanting peace and privacy. Or, for those seeking a more energetic holiday, there are many activities and attractions to be found in the locality. Moraira has a wide choice of restaurants offering cuisine from around the world. There are also many bars and pavement cafes and a wide choice of harbour-side bars.

Activities near Moraira:

For the peaceful nature of the area there is a range of activities for all ages. Tennis, football, squash, tenpin bowling, diving and other water sports, boat hire, boat trips etc. Jet skiing is also available in high season from the main port area.

For car enthusiast's, there is a fantastic Go-Karting circuit 5 minutes drive from Moraira.
