Lovely and homely 2 bedroomed detached villa in the Javea area. Comfortable accommodation for up to 4 persons.

Large living room with fully equipped kitchen. Furnishings include dining table for up to 6, comfy leather sofa and other seating. TV. Wi-Fi, 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite, separate bathroom.

Good sized swimming pool with its own sunbathing area.

Large sun filled terrace around the front and side of villa with plenty of ‘al fresco’ dining facilities available. Separate Barbecue area. Behind the villa is an orchard with orange trees.

Good sized driveway, views of the Montgo mountain and of Javea in the distance to the north east and the Rafelet urbanisation to the east.

Javea and Moriara are a short journey away with Benitachell just a few minutes’ drive away

We live in the UK with our 2 cats. We both have work and family commitments here in England. My husband's sister lives on the Costa Blanca therefore we were often her visitors. As both of us like the warmth Spain can offer, we decided in 2012, to purchase our own villa. After a comprehensive refurbishment we now have our comfortable second home in the sun - a home from home!.

Why Suzanne Chappell chose Javea

Having been frequent visitors to the Javea/Moraira region we felt 'at home' in this area. After looking at a few properties the villa in the Covatelles area seemed just right. It is near to Javea, a town we like, it is in a peaceful location and from the villa you can easily travel to the beaches, villages, towns and the countryside around. A car is a must, we should add.

What makes this villa unique

We enjoy relaxing around the pool, sunbathing and going out to dinner in the evening. The terrace is ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining with friends and family. Golf is available a few moments away and you can see the Montgo from the property. This can be climbed, we have been told by recent guests, in about 2 hours.

The Arenal has plenty of restaurants of all tastes and a good wide sandy beach - very popular in the high summer months.

"Peaceful perfection"

We stayed at Villa Alegria over a 4 day long weekend. Set in a beautiful surrounding the villa is so well equipped and beautifully decorated, it almost seems at odds to the peaceful simplicity of the surrounding areas; from whisking bowl to wi-fi, we were left wanting for nothing. As a bonus, the garden boasted a range of fruit trees as well as wonderful aloes and flowers. A short drive to both the beach and the historic town of Javea (Xabia) made this an accessible getaway villa with a real touch of class. I would highly recommend a trip.

Lovely private villa, beautifully furnished

We stayed at Villa Alegria during a very hot August. The villa was a very comfortable home from home, lovely and cool inside and our two young boys didn't want to leave. The pool was well maintained and the garden was very spacious. Great communication and help if needed. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Relaxing location with delightful views

The property was exactly what we expected. Location wise it is tucked away in a small residential area with good views. Well equipped modern kitchen with every sort of utensil available. The bedrooms and living room are comfortable, the master bedroom shower is huge. Outside, there is plenty of space and many different areas in which to eat or just relax. The pool is perfectly sized and very clean. We sat in peace and quiet around the pool on most days. Found in the garden are many delightful plants and trees. A highlight for us, most mornings,was collecting fallen oranges. We utilised the juicer in the kitchen for freshly squeezed orange juice. A car is a must, local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. Our favourite location, only 10 minutes drive away, was Moraira. This coastal town is pleasantly upmarket with the bars and restaurants to reflect this. I highly recommend the area of Javea and Moraira. It's is clean, friendly, relaxing and some excellent coastal drives or walks are to be had. Try the restaurant Tribus ( Benitachell ) and Rondo. Very good and reasonably priced fry up in the Venue.You won't spot a football shirt or a Macdonalds locally. We had a fantastic holiday, good for all ages, our first visit to the area.....we will be back.

Nice villa in a peaceful location

A lovely villa in a beautiful location, fantastic garden, splendid views of the surrounding area including the Montgo mountain. All is very quiet and serene, perfect for reading and relaxing. The villa is very well maintained and has everything one may need for a very nice holiday. It's only ten minutes drive to a Arenal sandy beach and about 25 minutes drive to Moraira with another lovely beach. Both have good restaurants and bars. A lot of nice walks, including Montgo national park and the national park in Calpi. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Villa Alegria

We had a great 10 day family holiday staying at Villa Alegria. The property was very clean and well maintained with everything you might need. We have two young boys and there was a high chair and travel cot provided plus plastic crockery for them to use, needless to say the washing machine came in handy for cleaning their dirty clothes! The luxury of English TV (more specifically CBeebies) was greatly appreciated all round.

The Villas set up is very safe with double gates stopping anyone from escaping onto the road and the pool is on a different level up some steps, there is a large outdoor area for playing/sunbathing/ alfresco dining that leads out through doors from the living area and the garden is to the back of the house with lovely fruit trees and plants.

The local area is quiet and peaceful and the nearby towns of Javea and Moriara are great for beaches/ restaurants/ shops and child friendly fun with play equipment situated right on the beach and a great rock pool area at Moriara which kept the boys entertained for hours.

We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday!
