We hope you love your stay at Fleming House. We bought the house in 2012, as we are provided with a house for my job as a Vicar.

Our 4 children love the house and the area. We love walking to the beach and enjoying the town.

Osborne House is a great favourite, especially the private beach.

Lovely House

A great location just a minutes walk from the centre of Cowes but still very quiet. The house is well furnished and equipped with an excellent family kitchen.

Steepish stairs for toddlers but our 2 year old was okay, would recommend a travel stair gate to be on the safe side.

Highly recommended for a family with the second lounge being great to give the kids space.

We love the Isle of Wight and especially Cowes, as it has everything you could ever want on a holiday.

Nearest Ferry : East Cowes at 0.5 Miles Car: not necessary

Sailing

Coast/Beach:

Just over 1 mile to Gurnard beach. A pleasant flat coastal walk, through the town and along the coast line. Good for cycling as well.

Other beaches within short drive.

Travel:

East Cowes Red Funnel from Southampton (car and passenger ferry) is less than 1 mile. Travel by local chain link, then 2 minute drive to Fleming House.

Cowes Red Jet (20 minutes Southampton foot passengers only) a short 5 minute walk.

Distances:

Osborne House (English Heritage) 1.5 miles

Ryde - 8 miles

Seaview - 11 miles

Further Details:

Cowes is a vibrant town. With many specialist shops, restaurants and cafes.

It makes a great base to discover the Island

There are 2 supermarkets in Cowes, and a Waitrose in East Cowes, and banks, post office etc...

It is known as the sailing capital.
