Pleasantly and peacefully situated detached 3 bedroom house surrounded by Mediterranean gardens. New plunge pool with views to the marina. Private parking at the property. Located within walking distance of the picturesque village of Milna and white flag beaches. The house is modern, clean and spacious with three double bedrooms, the master has a private terrace and there are two bathrooms. You can eat in or out. The village offers a variety of restaurants, bakeries and small shops. Small boats can be hired to explore the stunning coastline. The sea is clear, clean and safe. Either relax at the house or explore this beautiful island, by car, boat or bike. There is a frequent car ferry to Split on the mainland which operates all year round. Ferry services also operate from Split to explore other islands.

Brac is a traditionall fishing village which mass tourism has yet to find!

About Mrs Lesley-Anne Evans

I appreciate good food and wine and also love the outdoors, the waters are crystal clear and wonderful for swimming or enjoying by boat. The island is diverse and stunning I have travelled all over it and am amazed by its beauty. The ferry links are efficient and run year round. It is island life but not cut off at any time of the year.

Milna is a traditional fishing village that time has forgotten and I am so glad I found this gem in the Med.

If you have dogs and are flying from Stansted, consider letting them have their holiday with us instead of boarding kennels, contact me for more details.

Why Mrs Lesley-Anne Evans chose Brac

The house is large, clean and comfortable. surrounded by gardens, a new plunge pool was built in 2016 with stunning views to the marina. The master bedroom has a terrace to relax and take in the scenery. The first time I visited Brac I fell in love with it. Brac has stunning scenery, dramatic landscapes, amazing sunsets and divine olive oil. Even when it rains the island is beautiful. I love Milna as it is historic and quaint with everything needed for daily living, the village in the Med that time forgot. Split is easily accessible all year round and the other islands are diverse and amazing. Brac has a great community feeling even in the winter months which can be equally stunning.

What makes this house unique

Gardens surround the property and a plunge pool was added in 2016. Milna is walking distance with small shops, beaches and marina. There is a choice of restaurants and cafes, most of which are open all year round. The ferry at Supetar is efficient and only 17km from the property contact Jadrolinija for timetables. The tourist office in Milna can help you plan excursions by bike, car or boat.

I love seeing visiting sailing boats come in to the marina and people watching with a glass of locally produced wine. The cafe on the marina also has Wifi access if you really can not live without!

Fabulous location close to the cafes of Milna but far enough out to be quiet.

Milna is a beautiful unspoilt little port town. Pebble beaches are a short walk away where the water is very clear. Great for snorkeling.

Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Many serving excellent sea food. It isn't cheap though. Coffee and cossiant in the morning was very reasonable but evening meals are fairly similar to UK prices.

Absolutely beautiful

Stunning. House was beautiful and very homely and welcoming. The pool was an amazing bonus as was the air conditioning as it was very hot. Milna is beautiful and unspoilt by tourism. The locals are lovely. We spent a day in Bol but missed Milna and couldn't wait to get back. I would definitely recommend it. I will return for sure. I would also recommend the wine tasting. The lady was lovely. Thank you for a really enjoyable holiday.

Tremendous stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this villa, it ticked all the boxes. The view from the swimming pool overlooking the marina is surely one of the best views within this small, quaint town. We used the BBQ most nights and even went down to the marina for 7am to purchase the fishermen's fresh catch. Milna has plenty of nice seafood restaurants and we particularly enjoyed having a few cocktails watching the swanky boats moor up. The holiday was everything we could have wished for; incredibly relaxing, lovely food, lovely people and great accommodation. Take me back!!

Chilled out week in the sun

We were a family of 6 adults and the house was more than ideal for our use. Location great, really enjoyed using the BBQ and when we booked back in April we didn't realise a pool would be installed by the time we got there. It was a very hot week so after a day on the beach and a short but steep walk up the hill from the village it was a very welcome sight. The outdoor shower by the pool has possibly the best view ever looking down onto the picturesque Milna harbour. Well maintained modern property with beautiful, crisp linen bedding and towels just like a good hotel. We didn't hire a car for the week as we always planned to relax and chill and we weren't disappointed as there is plenty to enjoy at Milna, with the beach, cycling and walking or just purely chilling out! One of the highlights was when we hired a boat (courtesy of Tony & his boat Olinta) for a day and he took us to several pretty bays and inlets to snorkel and swim which we felt was a much more relaxing way to sightsee. Besides the BBQ we felt some of our best eating experiences were at Restaurant Omo and the pizza restaurant by Milna harbour. We would love to come back again one day either with family or friends and would not hesitate to recommend the property and Milna as the owner was extremely helpful and communicative with any enquiries we made.

Ideal location, just waht we needed for a successf

We had a lovely holiday in Milna. The location of the house was ideal just up the hill from the town. Lovely to be able to wander down the hill to buy fresh bread and croissants in the morning and to experience some of the night life in the evening. The plunge pool was great for cooling off at the end of a day visiting the local coves with lots of swimming and boating. The location was peaceful away from the hussel and bussel of the town but near enough to experience and explore on foot.

The property was well maintained and clean and it was lovely to have air conditioning in the heat of the day.

The meet up with the agent at Split ferry port went very smoothly and we found the property with no problems due to the good directions.

We were very taken with the island of Brac and would definitely consider visiting again

Special interest holidays:

The island offers a diversity of interests from walking, cycling and boating to sight seeing of historical churches and monuments. Brac is famous for its beautiful white stone quarried and used for many important buildings. Olives, almonds and citrus fruits are harvested and Brac olive oil is the best. There are traditional art galleries and locally produced craft ware which can be purchased in many villages.

Diving, snorkelling and boat trips can be arranged for you. Ferries operate through the summer to explore the other islands.

Bol famous for the stunning pennisula of golden pebbles, the town is lively with bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

The interior of the island is stunning and diverse, take a picnic to enjoy the cliff top views and sheltered bays.

There are many isolated inlets to explore by boat or foot and enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters.

So much to see and do or just enjoy people watching from the harbour with a drink or over a meal of locally produced food.

Coast/Beach:

Walking distance to the harbour and beaches, driving distance of many sheltered bays. Boats may be hired in Milna to explore picturesque bays and villages. Brac is a stunning island which can be explored by foot, bike, scooter, motorbike, car or boat.

Breathtaking landscapes take time to explore all that Brac has to offer.

Travel:

Brac is accessed from Split by ferry which takes approximately 1 hour the service operates all year round every 2 hours. There are airports at Split which is the nearest. Zadar is approximately 2 hours driving distance to Split and Dubrovnik is approximately 3 hours driving along the stunning coastal roads. The house is approximately 17km from the ferry port in Supetar along stunning scenery and through picturesque villages.

Distances:

The house is situated 5 minutes walking distance from Milna. Supetar is the ferry port in Brac from Split and is approximately 17km from the house. Supetar is a charming and pretty town with restaurants, cafes and shops and art galleries.

There are many places of historical interest to visit on Brac. Folk festivals and cultural events take place during the summer.

Further Details:

Milna has bakeries, restaurants, mini markets and cash machines. Boats can be hired for self drive or chartered to explore the coast and islands. There is also a bus service and tourist information office.

Excursions can be organised for you which include visiting places of interest, diving, snorkelling and vineyard trips.

There is so much to see on Brac an island of exceptional beauty full of tradition you will be spoilt for choice.
