About the Owner
Hi, I have never used an agent, as part of the fun for me is to meet my guests when they arrive at the cottage.
To show them around and be there so that I can answer any queries or give them any help they may need.
I have had so many lovely comments and repeat business, so I must be doing something right!
I have lived in Scotland all my life and love it, with my husband ( who speaks German)) we live nearby but not in Crieff.
Our family are all grown up and we have grandchildren, dogs and hens, all spoilt in that order!...we both have a good knowledge of the surrounding area, and we look forward to meeting you.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Jane

Cosy cottage for two well equipped and great place to relax with beautiful garden good location to explore surrounding areas. .
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage. Jane has put a lot of thought in making her guests feel cosy and comfortable with everything one needs. It was in a quiet location but close to all local amenities. Lovely conservatory which looked onto the garden. Large parking space. We enjoy walking and the great outdoors and Creiff is an ideal base with plenty places of interest in the surrounding area. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back
Ivy Cottage, Warm, welll equiped and comfortable.
The listing description is bang on. Very comfortable and well located cottage. Private with easy access on foot to Crieff and walks in the surrounding countryside.
The owner is very helpful and approachable and made us very welcome.
The countryside around Crieff is as stunning as anywhere in Scotland with a pleasing mixture of woodland, lochs and mountains. Callander, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy all within easy driving distance. Autumn colour is stunning - a great time of year to visit - still warm and with quiet roads.
A Little Gem
We have just come back from a week in Crieff staying at Ivy Cottage. A magical autumnal break for us with the colours of the trees in the surrounding area stunning.
What can I say that hasn't been said already! Ivy Cottage is indeed an adorable gem set in an idyllic setting. Jane has thought of everything to make your holiday perfection. The supplying of the bedding, towels and all linen as well as the tea, coffee, sugar and all other kitchen fare, toiletries, cleaning goods the list is endless. Apart from the excellent white goods in the kitchen there was a fantastic range cooker and even a bread machine which we used and my partner makes his own bread at home which he just loves. We have stayed many times in self catering accommodation for many many years and have never had such quality as Jane has provided for all her guests. This cottage is so cosy and even though our weather was poor it did not stop us from sitting having a cuppa in the conservatory enjoying the peace and just listening to the bird song. We even fed 2 large white horses at the bottom of the lane daily which they loved. We will certainly be back to stay in Ivy Cottage. A joyous time for us. Once again thank you Jane.
An excellent little cottage, clean, comfortable, warm and well presented. Just about everything needed - apart from food - is provided. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is wonderful!
Well situated for activities, golf at Crieff Golf Club is highly recommended. The RRS Discovery and HMS Unicorn in Dundee and Stirling Castle are certainly worth a visit. Plenty of walks nearby - Lady Mary's Walk and Laggan Hill and The Hermitage near Dunkeld are lovely in the Autumn when the leaves are turning and carpeting the ground.
The CO-OP in Crieff has a good supply of necessaries and the Visitor Centre under the clkock in the High Street has loads of information and maps. The Central Fish and Chip shop in King Street is good too.
All in all, a great place to stay. Jane (the Owner) is very friendly and welcoming.
No hesitation in recommending Ivy Cottage. You'll love it.

From the Owner
“We lived there for many years, so it is not an unloved cottage, I love it if I have time before my visitors arrive, to just sit in the garden and have a cup of tea and admire the garden, which I have put a lot of work in to. Crieff is great there are so many things to see in the surrounding area, there is a country cottage feel, but yet you are minutes from the town centre. Access to Edinburgh and Glasgow are also within easy reach with good links to public transport, so you never feel remote while staying at Ivy Cottage.”
