House in Porth Nr. Newquay, Cornwall, England - Excellent Location In The Grounds Of A Wonderful Hotel

Excellent location, very spacious accommodation split over two floors with a large open plan living area upstairs and 3 very spacious bedrooms down stairs all of which are en suites. Property is just outside Newquay town centre so benefits from a slightly more peaceful setting. Several beaches are within walking distance or very short drives great location for surfing or swimming beaches. Great location to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.

Well laid out, very spacious.

Lovely location near the beach and away from the clamour of the town. Three good sized bedrooms and reasonably well equipped. It offered everything that the six of us required. Plenty of hot water always on tap and very good heating system for the welcome home after a long walk on a cold afternoon.

Good location with plenty of parking about 15 mins walk from the town centre.

Clean and nicely fitted out three bed house. Good for dogs but not really close to dog friendly beaches in summer, but headland on door step for quick walks. Hotel bar and restaurant very near and very close to Lusty Glaze beach for surfing and dogs on leads in summer. Would definitely go back.

Ideal, modern property close to beaches

We very much enjoyed our stay and felt the house offered good value based upon the location, standard of accommodation and location. Living area was very comfortable, bedrooms are great and bathrooms very modern.

Ian was always very helpful and helped to resolve any queries very quickly and thoughtfully.The walk to the beaches is so quick, literally within 5 minutes and into Newquay was about 10-15 minutes. Perfect location to be close without being in the midst of the noise!

Only down side that we felt was that there was not enough kitchen equipment for a house to be home for a week to 6 people. Would like to see more pans, bowls etc so that everything didn't have to be a struggle to cook!

Other than that had a really lovely time, thank you.

Comfortable

Great location, this is our second stay at the property as we enjoy the layout and location. Ian is very accommodating and Jackie the cleaner is lovely and eager to help. A bottle of milk would be lovely on arrival and a few more glasses and saucepans to help when making a family meal and an extra towel,but I think this is being dealt with. We will be back!

Perfect base for our Newquay stay

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and loved our time at "the upside down house". The house itself had everything you could need & the extra touches like toilet rolls, hand wash, binbags, fresh flowers etc saved us a trip to the supermarket. There was plenty living space upstairs, fully equipped kitchen and our favourite seat was definitely the love/snuggle chair. Great BBQ area outside (sadly didn't use due to weather). Bedrooms are perfect-the 2 double rooms with en suites are really spacious and the twin bedroom where our children stayed was an ideal size and they loved having their own en suite. Location - 2 min walk to lusty glaze beach. Definitely worth a visit and the bar restaurant there is fantastic. We used the home as a base to visit different areas of Cornwall and it was perfect for us
