Andrew is a trained electrical engineer but has always had a true love of wood and Louise has an art background and has also spent the last 15 years Designing and organising weddings/ functions.

From the Owner

We have been hard at work over the last year building the new cabin Guardswood. Trees first arriving here from Coniston back in 2012 fully barked you could hardly believe what they were to become. All constructed by hand the cabin has grown gradually as we have peeled and cut each log by hand leaving as many of the trees natural features a possible. Now complete it really is a feat of construction so warm and cosy yet unbelievable at the same time you will spend your time trying to figure out how its been done. Guests will certainly leave feeling they have experienced something special in this beautiful cabin. Hope you enjoy it as much as weve enjoyed creating it. Louise and Andrew
