A lovely two bedroom apartment in a sought after location within the Marina in Ocean Village. Situated on the forth floor it can be easily accessed by lift or stairs. The property has 2 bedrooms, secure underground parking, concierge and on call duty manager. Amazing place, all you need is already there in a really nice environment. I was truly surprised by it......unexpected...first time that the description and the pictures don't do appropriate justice to the place! Even my Italian family (judgement very harsh) loved it!

Will do it again all over and more!

Not exactly a relaxing holiday!!!!!!

We wish we had read the previous review before staying at this property. Our main issue is we too had week of constant loud noise with the beeping and revving of the diesel engines from 2 cherry pickers and scaffolding noise from works being carried out to the building - starting at 8am! We contacted the owner on numerous occasions to try to ascertain if they were aware of the works and that we should have been told about them when booking. We were shrugged off and didn't even receive an apology. Having read the other review we know they must have been aware! Some of our other issues were the apartment is not the one shown and does NOT have a balcony. The view overlooks other flats with their washing out drying in their living rooms. The apartment seemed clean on the face of it but all the kitchen cupboards and draws were dirty. Filthy water came up from the plug in the shower and bath and we had to remove hair and muck to get the water to drain away. What should have been a relaxing break turned out to be like a week on a building site.

Owner's Response: I'm really sorry that this lady did not enjoy her stay. I have had so many lovely emails from people who have had a lovely time. The outside redecoration was supposed to have been finished in June and I really have had no control over its schedule. I don't think that the stay was helped by the fact that the lady tried to cancel or postpone the booking less than a week before arrival because of health issues and realised that she may have to forgo the holiday. If I had been contacted immediately on this lady's arrival rather than when she was about to leave then I could have tried to address her issues. I live on site so I am always around to address any niggles that may arise, as they can do in any home/apartment.

Lovely apartment, well equipped

The booking of this apartment was really straight forward, and collecting the key from the Concierge on arrival was easy. The secure parking is good. The apartment is bright and airey with a nice large kitchen and dining/lounge area. Both bedrooms are spacious and really comfy beds although we found the bedrooms quite warm. The bath and shower rooms were also spacious and clean. Unfortunately on our stay, there was maintenance work to the exterior of the Ocean Village apartments taking place and the contractors parked two or three of their 'cherry pickers' directly below this apartment which were started up at 8 O'clock and trundled around the immediate area so no nice quiet lay-in during our stay, although we appreciated that this is only temporary and beyond the owners control. We were a little disappointed however that two of the photos submitted by the owner imply that the apartment has an overhanging balcony (see ground view photo showing apartments above the Banana Bar) which gives views over the marina (see photo taken from inside another apartment). In fact this apartment has no balcony and no view over the marina, the view is of a block of apartments opposite with the service road below. However, even taking this into account we would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Southampton.

Perfect - Highly Recommended

This is a fantastic exceptionally high specification contemporary apartment, with plenty of space and light. The decor is truly of a superior quality, the photos really don't do it justice. Two double bedrooms, with possibly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, two bathrooms, lounge, dinning area and fully equipped kitchen. The attention to detail is impressive from the tea and coffee, dish washers tablets and cleaning products, to the amount of coat hangers in the wardrobe.

The location is perfect 100m from an idillic stroll along the harbour or 5 mins from the restaurants and bars in the city centre. The secure parking and secure entry to the complex is an extra bonus.

There's a very concierge service who were very helpful with directions and information.

The owner was extremely prompt, polite, helpful and couldn't have been more accommodating, she made the whole process very easy and stress free. I really liked the fact that bookings, enquiries etc are made direct with the owner rather than an agent.

The price was extremely reasonable for the standard of the apartment.

I had a fabulous 2 night stay and wished I would have booked for longer,

I will be back again soon for sure.
