About the property

Apartment in El Peñoncillo Playa, Torrox Costa

This first floor apartment is situated on El Peñoncillo beach, Torrox Costa.

The apartment offers free unlimited internet access complete with a TV box for watching English channels. A big charm is the outside 2 sided balcony which is West facing with a Sea view. It is perfect for the early morning shade and a great bonus for enjoying the afternoon/late evening sun.

The apartment has 2 en-suite bedrooms (double and twin) and is large enough to sleep up to 5 people with the use of an extra bed (hire charge applicable)

The apartment boasts a fully fitted kitchen with utility room and a large lounge with access to the outside balcony through 2 separate patio doors.

The dining table has comfortable seating for 6 people and the 2 large leather sofas can happily seat 6 in the living area. The balcony also has a dining table with seating for up to 6 people.

All rooms are fitted with remote control ceiling fans for those warm summer evenings and heaters for those cooler winter nights.

The property also offers the use of the rooftop terrace which spans the width of the building creating wonderful panoramic views of the coast, beach and mountains. The large sunbathing area also has a rooftop communal swimming pool with toilets and shower.

The property has good access for wheelchair users and has lift access to all floors.

There is also a small supermarket on the ground floor of the building beside and there are a few wonderful beach restaurants along the El Peñoncillo beach, great for enjoying fresh fish caught that day.

Torrox Costa promonade is just a 5 minute walk away.

We are family co-owners of the property, with one half of the family living in the UK and the other half living nearby the property in Torrox Pueblo (Village in the Torrox Hills).

We work together to keep the rentals running smoothly.

The whole experience was wonderful.

As you say the weather was just right and we spent the mornings on the veranda in lovely shade. The afternoons we spent moving about from beach to local towns. We enjoyed the Monday market and generally had a lovely time.

The apartment offered everything we could have possibly wanted and it was very nice of Carol to meet us on so late an arrival and procure the basics for us. The tea and toast that evening was very welcome having refused the British Airways offerings on the plane. We just went across the road for a drink and settled down for the night.

We enjoyed the beach and the beach restaurant and the sea was nice and warm. Not like Clacton and the North sea.

We look forward to using the apartment again and would highly recommend it to all and sundry.

Outside: There are beautiful gardens that surround the apartment as you walk onto the beach. There are showers situated along the coast for your convenience and the two beach restaurants provide the most wonderful fresh fish caught that day. They also offer comfy sun loungers for those lazy days in the sunshine. Utility Room: Washing machine, cleaning products/utensils and linen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean towels and linen are provided on arrival. Mid stay cleans are available on request for €25. excellent well equipped property

We stayed here in January 2018 with our grandchildren.

This is a lovely, well equipped property, which is in an ideal position for the beach.

The beach bar was open and it was only 5 minutes walk away.

The beds were comfortable, but it would have been good to have extra blankets as it was quite cold at night.

It was lovely to have a bath after being on the beach and to have 2 bathrooms.

I would recommend this apartment for both couples and families.

The lounge is very comfortable and it is good to have British television and WIFI

We would definitely stay here again

Loved the location of the apartment, very spacious for the 2 of us as we each had our own en- suite. The kitchen had plenty of all the usual dishes and appliances etc.Comfortable settees in the lounge and good tv/wifi reception. Beds comfy too. The local beach bars were closed due to the season but there is a little bar across the road serving good food and always popular. Due to the time of year, sun was only on the balcony from about 11:30 to 4pm. However, the bars along the front were in full sunshine until 6pm, The walk to the front was about 15 mins,the same to Lidl and Aldi. The supermarket just downstairs from the apartment had big bottles of water, so not far to carry the heavy weight. We would recommend this apartment.

Trip to Torrox Costa Aug 17

Took our granddaughters (15 & 13yrs) for a weeks holiday. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped with comfy beds,tv with UK channels and most important (to the granddaughters) wi-fi! Had fun at the beach and the rooftop pool was excellent. Having a hire car made visits to the local market,Nerja and a trip to Competa,mountain town fun for all. Local resturaunts were reasonably priced with good food. I recommend a trip to the area staying at this apartment.

great place

very spacious apartment , comfortable beds and everything to hand that was needed , even down to the oil radiators which were provided and well needed in the evenings in winter , all pots pans and utensils were there and well stocked even managed to make a xmas dinner there , wanted for nothing , showers great , good water pressure , outside space lovely and handy to get into torrox itself for supermarkets etc , really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to people

Great apartment in Torrox

Just come back from a wonderful holiday in Torrox Costa. The apartment is right beside the beach and in easy walking distance to the resort of Torrox where there are many bars and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need for your stay and the owner was very helpful with everything. We would recommend this apartment as if you dont want to go anywhere it is all on your doorstep.

The apartment was everything as described. The owner met us and explained all the switches and knobs, very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful holiday, recommend a visit to Competa. The front of Torrox Costa buzzing, but the local bars and restaurants are all worth a visit. We will definitely be going back.

Malaga is the nearest airport and is a 45 minute drive to the Apartment. A car/taxi ride is recommended and we do offer airport collections/drop offs for €70 each way. These will need to be booked in advance.

More detailed driving directions can be provided on request.


5/10 minute walk to Torrox Costa. 5 minute drive to Nerja.

Further Details:

There are water sports available including jet ski hire, banana boat rides and scuba tuition and for something a little more relaxing, there are 33 golf courses on the Costa del Sol, and the nearest is only a 10 minute drive away.

If you are more of a historian you can visit the roman ruins which are located in the area of the lighthouse in Torrox Costa or a trip to Andalucía region would not be complete without a visit to the magnificent Nerja Caves, one of Spain's most popular and spectacular historical sites. The Nerja Caves – Cuevas de Nerja – are a series of huge caverns stretching for almost five kilometres and home to the world's largest stalagmite, a 32 metre high column measuring 13 metres by 7 metres at its base.
