Great location and great house

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we were very impressed by the spotless and spacious house in a quiet neighbourhood, with having WiFi being a great bonus especially when looking for things to do. During the week we spent there, we appreciated the location being close to Highcliffe beach and Castle, Lymington, the Isle of Wight, and especially Hurst Castle. Gavin, the owner, was very friendly and communications via email were super smooth! Can highly recommend this property!

Just returned from spending a fantastic week here. House was spotless and very well equipped. Well located and really suitable for a family with young kids (7 and 4). A very short stroll to lovely beach and ideal for walking into Milford for everything you need. Booking was very easy and Gavin was great to deal with.

Yes it truly is in a wonderful location, both close to the beach and cliff top whilst a short stroll from the village amenities. We hope you visit again in the near future.

Wonderful location in an ideal house

  • 5 of 5

The house was just great, would suit a family or as in our case. a couple. It was spotless on our arrival and in a quiet road which was, as promised, a mere 2 minutes from the clifftop. We had an easy stroll into town, perfect for 2 lively dogs. The owner was very helpful and responded to my emails in advance of the trip. The house really is newly refitted and although it welcomed dogs, you would not have known it from its cleanliness and order. Milford itself looks sleepy but had a wide range of excellent restaurants which wee well patronised by a friendly and sociable crowd. Not really for young people as Milford attracts an older age group and the beach itself isn't too child friendly but if you like wonderful views, long but easy walks and a lovely pub at the end of it, this is for you.

From the Owner

After many years of wonderful holidays in a local holiday park on the edge of Milford-on-Sea we decided to purchase this house as a holiday home to let out when vacant. I am a keen runner and cyclist so the location is perfect. My wife and I along with Bella go out for hours walking either along the cliff tops and beaches or in the New Forest a short drive away. We have been known to venture to the lovely friendly pubs in Milford-on-Sea too, just to exercise the dog and to check out the food and beer for our potential clients of course !

From the Owner

Perfectly located, quiet road, moments from the cliff top and beach below and a short walk from the centre of the village. In Milford-on-Sea there are 3 pubs that all serve great food. There are Indian, Thai, Seafood and French restaurants in the village centre...what a fantastic choice ! The village also has two small supermarkets with all the necessities if you want to stay at home for a quiet evening.
