Villa in Taradeau, Nr. Lorgues, Var, Cote DAzur, France - Tranquillity In The Charming Countryside Yet Close To Provençal Towns And Villages

This lovely villa is situated in a peaceful although not isolated position on the outskirts of the village of Taradeau (well known for its wine) in the centre Var. The view from the villa is of the tower and chapel which dominate the village. Taradeau is situated between the sea (Fréjus-Saint Raphaël, Ste Maxime, St Tropez) and the mountains (Gorges du Verdon, Lac de Sainte-Croix) and is just a few minutes drive from the main A8 autoroute and Les Arcs station on the Paris - Nice railway line. The villa is the home of a Franco-Portuguese couple who spend 6 months a year in Portugal so has all the comforts of a real home. The fully air-conditioned villa has a delightful heated, private pool with surrounding terraces and a large gazebo.

Outside: Lovely gardens and delightful heated, private pool (5.5m x 4m) and pool terrace. The pool terrace offers magnificent views over to the tower and chapel which dominate the village of Taradeau. A large gazebo with large dining table offers shade during the day and shelter on windy days. The garden is well illuminated for evening enjoyment. There are pool loungers and a barbecue. Utility Room: Washing machine and supplementary fridge and freezer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided including pool towels. The property is cleaned before and at the end of each stay. Additional linen and cleaning are available on request at a supplement.

Very family friendly villa, everything you would need. Pool is a bonus. Lots to do and see, car essential. Would recommend, we will be back

A Beautiful Villa

A fabulous villa. A quiet location but only 10 mins walk/2 mins drive to the village for the bread and about 20 mins drive away from the supermarket. The surrounding countryside is some of the most beautiful we've ever seen.

The villa itself has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The pool and surrounding area are beautiful and kept that way by twice weekly visits from Pascal the Poolman. The gardens are immaculate and very pretty.

Judith visited us on our first morning then was only a text or phone call away for the rest of the holiday.

If I was forced to say one negative thing about this adorable place, I would say that there isn't quite enough hot water for a family which includes 3 women! However, this small problem is far outweighed by the rest of this wonderful place.

We will definitely be returning here.

Heart of Provence

Extremely well equipped villa, maintained to a very high standard, set in a quiet and very traditional French village. Good location for visiting this prolific wine producing region, with many beautiful medieval villages tucked away in the hills, telling their own stories. An easy drive to Ste Maxime port where you can catch a water taxi across the bay to St Tropez. Good tips and advice supplied by the owners for local trips. To summarise, a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you.

HIdden Treasure!

A delightful little villa, just right for couples or a small family. The owners had thought of everything, from a welcoming bottle of the local rose to leaving enough charcoal for the BBQ and more than enough towels for the bathroom and pool!! The kitchen was so well equipped, we wanted for nothing! Judith, the manager, was excellent, answering emails promptly throughout the booking process and giving us a warm welcome when we arrived. We would definitely go back and the sooner the better! Try visiting Chateau Astros, just down the road - they produce excellent rose wine!!

Stay tax £0.93 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the manager upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 18 years.

Booking Notes:
A 33% deposit is required in order to confirm a booking. This should be made by bank transfer. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the holiday begins. Payment is in Euros. The damage/excessive cleaning deposit of 500€ is payable with the balance and will be repaid by bank transfer within two weeks of departure. All payments will be acknowledged by email immediately after the payment is received. This is a non smoking property. We regret that we do not accept animals.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible outside high season so that guests can take advantage of cheaper mid week flights or quieter motorways. Arrival after 16h00 and departure before 10h00.

Notes on prices:
Weekly rates throughout the year include linen/towels, water, electricity,electric heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. No further charges. The pool will be heated at no extra cost from the beginning of April until the end of September. A returnable damage/cleaning deposit of 500€ is payable with the balance 8 weeks before the holiday begins. Payment is in Euros. Substantial discounts will apply to lets of 4+ weeks outside the months of July and August.
