Villa in Lomas de Cabo Roig, Costa Blanca - Ideal Location Minutes From Designer Shops, Beaches, Golf Courses And Nightlife

Modern and stylish, our air conditioned villa comes fully equipped for a great self catering holiday in the sun. It is ideally positioned for whatever sort of holiday you want. You can relax on one of the three terraces we have, eat al fresco on the front terrace, take in the sun on our roof top solarium or maybe breakfast on the master bedroom balcony. If you need to cool down then there is a superb shared pool close by. Then there are the beaches with all the activity you would expect or maybe the golf courses. More restaurants than you can imagine. If its shopping that you fancy then try the brand new 'La Zenia Boulevard' shopping Mall, a mere 2km from our villa. We are also 2km away from the nightlife of the Cabo Roig 'strip', close enough to get to but far enough away not to hear it.

About Nigel Smith

Hi

My name is Nigel Smith, my wife Marian and I bought our apartment in 2006 and we really enjoy coming over to Spain whenever possible.

I design and build garden rooms and when I'm not doing that I am coaching tennis.

Marian is a teacher so between us time in Spain is precious and we like to relax and do next to nothing if possible. Unfortunately I bought some tools and now its like home from home with little jobs to do around the apartment.

We know that if you book a holiday in our apartment you can look forward to a relaxing time in a great area.

Location

Coast/Beach:

There are four beaches within a 5 min drive three of which are Blue Flag with white sand making it an ideal location for families. Pedalos can be hired at the Cabo Roig beach in high season. However, if you are after something a bit more adventurous, Jet Ski's and Banana rides are available at La Zenia beach. The newly refurbished Cabo Roig marina is also only 5 mins way.

Travel:

The villa is situated 2km from Cabo Roig which is approx 20 mins from Murcia (San Javier) airport and 45 mins from Alicante airport. Full instructions will be given when booking.

Car hire isn't completely necessary as we can arrange a taxi service at reasonable rates but if you do hire a car we think you will get the full benefit of all the area has to offer.

Distances:

The busy town of Torrevieja is a 15 mins drive away. It has many shops, restaurants and bars and also a marina, promenade and Aquapark. There are a number of historic cities within 1 hour drive - Murcia, Cartagena, Orihuela, Elche & Alicante. La Manga and the Mar Menor are also well worth a visit.

Local shops & restaurants

There is an Aldi supermarket within 400m. You will also find a good Spanish Restaurant, a Scottish bar, wine shop, bank, wine bar and the White Rose tea-room(which does brilliant English breakfasts) on this complex. Further along (200m) is Alfie's bar, The Square (an Irish pub), a florist, internet cafe and newsagents, hairdressers, English food store, Indian restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and Moonlights where you can get a great Sunday lunch.

Within a few minutes drive, there is a large area called the 'Golden Strip' where all the night life happens.

For dining a little further afield Villamartin centre has some excellent restaurants, the best of which(in our opinion) is Eduardo’s.

If shopping is your thing then the newly opened ‘La Zenia Boulevard’ shopping mall is a must and only 2km away. It contains around 150 shops and is the biggest centre in Alicante province.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: We have a strictly no smoking policy in the villa. We politely ask our guests not to run the air conditioning with doors and windows open. This wastes large amounts of electricity and leads to larger bills. This in turn means we have to increase our prices in the future. Outside: Our villa has a drive which will take 2 vehicles in tandem As well as the drive we have a patio outside the front door which can be used for dining using our outdoor furniture. The master bedroom has a balcony with a table and two chairs and there is a rooftop solarium with 4 loungers. An ideal place to wind down after a hard days golf or beach. There is a well equipped shared swimming pool approx 100 metres away at the end of our road for which you need a key to gain entry. These are only issued to people who are entitled to use the pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided. The property is cleaned between rentals, and a local payment of 50 Euros for cleaning plus 7 Euros per person for laundry is required on arrival.

Great House

We had a lovely time staying here. The place was lovely and clean. Comfortable beds. The key holder was really friendly and gave us a great welcome. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. A supermarket within walking distance was lovely - as were the restaurants which we ate at a couple of times.

The pool was lovely and warm.

Nigel's communication was brilliant all the way through.

Thanks ever so much for letting this place out - we had a great time in the area. :-)

Owner's Response: It is our aim that all our guests are able to have such an enjoyable holiday experience from pre holiday booking through to the end of their stay with us. Our key holder is a resident in the next road and is on hand to deal with any problems that may occur or any advice that is needed. The area around Cabo Roig is continually improving and offers great beaches, loads of restaurants and nightlife, designer shopping Mall, brilliant golf courses and much more. A great place for a holiday.

Great accommodation

Very clean and tidy accommodation. Owners gave good information and contact details to locate the property.

It's set in a nice quiet area, ten minutes walk to bars and restaurants and only minutes drive away from main roads A7 and N332

Pool and surrounds are very well kept and as others have said, has the benefit of sun lounges.

All modern amenities within accommodation. A great stay,.

Lovely 3 bedroomed villa

Arrived after a late flight at 1am with hubby, and two teenagers and was met by the key keeper, very friendly and helpful - quite a big fee for the late arrival though! Villa was lovely and very clean, open plan kitchen, diner, lounge with a double bedroom and toilet/shower on the ground floor. 1st floor has 2 double rooms (both with a/c, one with a balcony to the front) and a family bathroom and on the top is a roof terrace with lovely views. At the front of the house is a covered veranda with table and chairs and a parking space, but plenty of room to park in the road. Pool was lovely, a short way down the road, then have to go through two locked gates, and a bonus was that the pool provides sunbeds - although some people did put their towels on them all day long, even though they weren't there! About a 10 minute walk to Aldi supermarket and a few bars and restaurants and a car ride - 10 minutes maximum - to a lovely sandy beach with a huge free car park. Unsafe to walk to the beach as you have to go along a thin, busy road without a walkway. If you were happy to lie by the pool you wouldn't need a car. A great place, highly recommend!

Beautiful Villa

Having just arrived home from a fortnight stay at this villa I could have easily stayed longer.

The owners were very obliging and went out their way to make sure my famiy had a great two weeks at their villa.

It is situated in a very quite area and all the neighbours were lovely.

Just a two minute walk to the secure gated communal pool, this suited our young family as I didn't have to worry about kids running off as you had to fob in and out.

I would defo return to this property and would highly recommend.

A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival
A £100 breakages deposit is required with the final balance payment. This will be refunded within 4 days of a satisfactory return of the villa to our key holder.
Towels and linen are provided. The property is cleaned between rentals, and a local payment of 50 Euros for cleaning plus 7 Euros per person for laundry is required on arrival when picking up the keys.

We are completely flexible with change over days.
If you need an airport pick up please let us know and we are able to arrange at prices which are less than the local taxis.

Early Bird discount: 10% discount if departure date is more than 6 months after booking date.
Long Stay discount: 20% discount if length of booking is equal to or more than 1 month. 10% discount if length of booking is equal to or more than 3 weeks.
Last minute discounts: 20% discount if arrival date is within 7 days of booking date.
