About the property

Cottage in St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales - 18th Century Cottage Situated In The Heart Of St Davids But Only 10 Mins Walk From The Coastal Path

Tower Hill is an 18th century cottage situated in the heart of St Davids but only 10 minutes walk from the Coastal Path. Tucked into the hillside just outside the ancient City walls, it enjoys breathtaking views of the mediaeval Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and surrounding countryside. St Davids’ shops, restaurants, pubs and arts and crafts galleries are only a short stroll away, and a few minutes’ drive takes you to Caerfai and Whitesands beaches, as well as St Davids’ golf course. Rated 4 star by the Visit Wales Tourist Board, the house has a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a utility room. It is furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary furniture, and features pictures and ceramics by local artists. Wooden floors and quarry tiles are fitted throughout, and effective heating is provided by night storage heaters and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room. Behind the house is a walled garden, sheltered from coastal breezes and a real sun-trap.

About Victoria Provis

Although I currently live in London, I am a native of Wales and have been holidaying in Pembrokeshire since the age of six. I was fortunate enough to be able to buy Tower Hill Cottage in 2002 and believe it is in a magical location.
