Excellent bathrooms and bed exceedingly comfy and location perfect.

Carpets and floors and worktops had not been cleaned. This did not spoil our stay, and is easily rectified. Throw out the rattan placemats, which are full of food debris and small insects...

Don't be put off staying here, we really enjoyed our stay and felt rested

Lovely place and perfect location

The property is in a good central location and has everything you need for a great holiday. It's a very clean well equipped place and my Wife and two kids and I had a lovely time there.

A gem!

What a treat to go to St Ives and have a garden to sit in and not need to worry about parking! We have been to St Ives a few times and this apartment really does have it all, and on the doorstep of Porthminster beach which is our favourite because it is so child friendly. The walk to the beach is only 5 minutes and down some steps, however this does mean a bit of puffing going back up again. The apartment is very central to St Ives however there is very little noise as it is set back from it all. I would have given the apartment 5 stars if it wasn't for the 2 flights of steps from the garage to the apartment which was fine on a daily basis but a struggle with suitcases. Although perhaps this is a prompt for me to take less on holiday! The garage did take a 3 point turn to park in but we managed to park a large family car in there. I would definitely book up again. St Ives is such a fabulous place for a holiday for children and adults alike.

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment, really well laid-out so that we easily had six of us staying. We had 4 adults and 2 children (5 years and 6 months) but could easily have fitted two older children. My older son loved his bedroom, on the mezzanine outside our room and the chests by the side of his bed in the eaves for all his treasures. The kitchen was well equipped and even had picnic-ware and sandwich bags. The private patio is a real bonus allowing BBQs and even has a partial sea view. The possible disadvantages may be that it is up 2 flights of stairs (the garage is on the ground floor) but we managed fine with two children (one in a buggy which we kept in the garage for ease). There is only one space for parking (inside a garage) which can be tricky to manoeuvre into and a big car might struggle. We had 2 cars and it is worth noting that additional parking in St Ives is expensive and at peak times can be difficult to locate. The walk down to St Ives is about 10 mins and although quite steep has the most beautiful views. St Ives is fabulous and it is great to be close enough to walk down to the harbour and beach but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. We would definitely stay again and recommend this apartment and it is great value for money.
