Beautifully furnished studio in superb beach front location in Hotel Sol Timor. There are views of the swimming pool, gardens and sea from the balcony. Great value for money and ideal for couples but spacious enough for a child. This is the perfect destination for a lovely beach holiday, with restaurants, bars and cafes on doorstop. Just 400 steps away is award wining Marina of Benalmadena. Relax while the children play in the mini-club. Children's play park and activities for the young and not so young. Nightly entertainment in the lounge and happy hours twice daily. Snack bar around the pool and life guard on duty. On the top floor studio we have a washing machine and a hydro-power washing machine. WIFI available, English SAT TV. Value for money studio within a hotel complex. superb beach front location situated between Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Furnished to a high standard. This accommodation is ideal for 2 people, spacious enough for a child. NB: no separate bedroom.

Very close to the Benalmadena Marina. Located close to a selection of bars, night clubs and restaurants.

This beautifully individually furnished south facing studio is privately owned within the Timor Sol complex has twin beds. A Z-bed is available on request.

Lovely views of the pool, gardens and beach from private balcony. Air conditioning and heating.

This complex has a mini club for kiddies and a non-alcohol disco for teenagers. Supervised sport games and activities. Large pool with loungers. Pool and beach bar.

Minimum deposit of £100 is required. Special rates for winter lets. In high season, arrival day is Sunday.

Please note, hotel is closed from October 21st until January 20th approx. Private apartments are open as well as 24h security/reception, hairdressers and launderette.

About Trish Jenkins

I am a British citizen, born in Weston Super Mare aged 60. I have been living on the Costa del Sol for 30 years now. I have one studio apartment for rent which I have owned for a few years. As I have been here for a long time I am well known in the Sol Timor Hotel and in the area. I live quite close to the Timor Sol hotel.

Why Trish Jenkins chose Torremolinos

I initially bought the first apartment for my Mum and Dad to stay in for their long holidays in the Winter. My parents used to love it here, sadly now my Mum is deceased.

I love the fact that you can wake up every day and think that is the Mediterranean sea, the sun is shining. But here I am and I am avoiding the grey skies and the rain. This area is Spanish with a few English qualities that we can all enjoy. Flights are daily and only take 3 hours so I can always get home quickly if needed. I have lots of multi national friends and enjoy eating and drinking in the sun. I also like the English TV.

What makes this apartment unique

When you stay at the Sol Timor hotel or apartments you can be sure of a first class quick and friendly check in. If you ever do have a problem the staff will help you out. Need a doctor, now worries you can use your E111 form or see a private doctor in a hospital close by. Everyone speaks English so you can always be understood whether you want to book a table in a restaurant or the hydro to Tangiers. Money Exchange is not a problem either in the hotel or the many money Exchange places.

Our accommodation may be small but it is perfectly comfortable for a short or long holiday. Don't want to miss your favourite soap? many bars show all the popular tv shows. Start recording all your favourite programmes to watch on our DVD player.

Information boards inviting you to book an excursion or book a boat trip and hope to see the dolphins. Management staff in the hotel are 5 star and will do all they can to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. Outside: Beautiful well maintained garden with two swimming pools. One for children. Life guard on duty. Security gate to Access the promenade.Security staff on duty. Sun beds and umbrellas available to rent at a small charge from hotel. Shaded and sunny areas. Entertainment areas for the children but quiet enough that you can have a siesta and get a tan at the same time. Utility Room: Iron and Ironing board inside the studio. Laundrette downstairs. Washing line on terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is changed once a week. Property is cleaned on departure. Extra cleaning is available on request at a small charge. Beach towels can be supplied sometimes with a small charge. Other: Mirrored wardrobes with plenty of space and lots of hangers. Small safe inside for Passports etc. South facing terrace with two chairs and small table. A sun trap with magnificent views.

My friend and I (2 25-year-old women) stayed in Trish's apartment on the 3rd floor. From the moment we booked Trish was brill with communication, answered any questions we had and offered recommendations.

The apartment is a short 20 minute taxi ride (at most!!) from Malaga airport which cost us 23 euros. The location of the apartment was BRILLIANT for our holiday. We were able to walk from our room to a sunbed on the beach in under 5 minutes using the pool gate. Alongside the convenience of the beach, there were a few smaller shops outside the front door and Lidl was a 10-minute walk away. The walk to the beautiful restaurants along Benalmadena Marina took about 10 minutes and wasn't a struggle to get home after a few too many wines!

The apartment itself was clean, airy and perfect for two people. We found having the ceiling fan as well as the air conditioning useful for when we were using the hairdryer to keep the room cool. We only used a few of the kitchen appliances as we made good use of the lovely food on offer at the beach bars along the promenade, however, there was a fridge and freezer, 2 hobs, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave along side cutlery and utensils in the drawers and cupboards. We couldn't have asked for more! The only thing we missed was a few tea towels for when we washed up what ever glasses we had used.

The beds were comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean bedding. We hid our suitcases away under the beds after hanging our clothes in the full-length wardrobe and made use of the full-length mirror every day. The bathroom was large consisting of toilet, sink and a shower over the bath. Everything was grand for the pair of us.

There is a small balcony overlooking the pool and the beach - beautiful views for a morning coffee or evening G&T.

We preferred to use the beach (for 5 euro per sunbed) however if you want to spend your day by the pool - be sure to join the gaggle of loopy ladies putting towels on sunbeds at 7am (when the pool doors get unlocked by security). The first day we spent by the pool there was not one sunbed to be had and had to lie on the grass on our towels. On our second pool day, I set my alarm for 6.45 and joined the other sleepy guests and waited for the doors to be opened. After going back to bed it was much nicer lounging by the pool on the beds we had secured with our towels when we got up at 10am.

Fabulous apartment, fabulous host, fabulous location!!!!

Would recommend to anyone :)

Been using these apartments for around 15 years, both apartments are great, super clean, spacious and close to all local supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The owner is a beautiful kind woman who cannot do enough for you. I would highly recommend anyone to use these apartments for their holiday

Excellent location. Spotless apartment.

Apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. UK TV, DVDs, Fridge and facilities to cook your own snacks and meals (although why would you with excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance). Walk out of hotel grounds onto prom and beach. Owner was very nice and was available to give plenty of advice about the area. Would highly receoomend this apartment.

Bonjour, nous sommes vraiment déçu de notre séjour qui a été catastrophique pour les raisons suivante : des services proposés dans l'annonce sont inexistants et non disponible : wifi, machine à laver, parking en plus des choses qui dérangent tels que la porte qui a sifflé durant toute la nuit du samedi et dimanche en raison du vent et du mauvais temps, la chasse d'eau qui fuite, impossible de dormir avec bruits énormes, pas de contact téléphone du propriétaire pour l'aviser d'intervenir, pas d'Internet pour le contacter sachant qu'au mois d'octobre nous avons séjourné et nous étions trés content puisque le propriétaire nous a rendu visite pour s'assurer que tout se passe bien, nous marquons nos mécontentements envers la propriétaire. J'espére avoir une réponse de votre part. Remerciements

Owner's Response: As an owner of this apartment for more than 30 years, I am disputing this review. This is a Hotel complex with over 2000 guests. Wifi is available through Reception 24hours a day. There is a car park for 80 cars outside the hotel, see photographs.Washing machine is advertised as being in only one apartment and we also confirm this via email. Full contact details are available in the information folder supplied In the apartment with other touristic information. there is also a telephone in the apartment. Reception staff have my telephone numbers which they use if they need to speak to me. Having checked both mobile and landlines we did NOT receive a call from you. I wish I could control the rain, wind and sun, but I can not. The wind was particularly high coming from the sea, but yet again, I can't control it. as his is the only complaint I have ever received I feel it is totally unjustified.

Fishing from the harbour or on a boat trip. Tapas tour of Malaga. Picasso Museum and other art galleries. Malagas beautiful historic Cathedral and our New Marina where the cruise liners come in. Shopping!! Great shops and the Corte Ingles the huge department shop open 10:00 until 22.00 hours with a restaurant on top.


Miles and miles of golden sands are less than 50 meters away walking. No need for a car. Beach bars and restaurants right on the beach. Very safe for swimming, life guard on duty in summer months. Body surfing and kayaking popular and lots of water activities for the children. Water skiing available Beach has ice cream vendors, local entertainment and tapas bars galore. you can't get better fish that this!


Malaga airports less than 10 miles away and takes approx 15 minutes by car. Malaga airport has a first class local train and bus service. Taxis are readily available at airport. Malaga port is 15 miles away and can be reached easily by car, train or bus. Car hire choice is overwhelming.


Torremolinos is 3 miles away. You can have a gentle walk along the sea front and it will take 20 minutes. You can also walk along the N340 which takes less time. Mijas Pueblo and Benalmádena Pueblo are short drives away. The thriving village of Arroyo de la Miel is a slightly uphill walk of around 20 minutes. Local buses are cheap, clean and on time. Always check the rate of the taxi before setting off.

We have a huge variety of shops including leather shops and local produce. Every type of food you can imagine is available within twenty minutes walk. many restaurants offer Menu del dia 3 courses with a glass of wine or beer or water for around 10 Euro. Huge children's choices. English Banks, and money changing shops. Hair dressers, beauty salons, casino and theatres. Bullfighting and horse shows.

Booking Notes:

Balance is paid on arrival, arrangment with the owner. Letters of introduction are sent to guests to introduce them to reception at the hotel.
Owner of apartments lives close so you can be assured of some help if you ever need any.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is generally Sunday except in the off season Nov - February or by previous arrangement. Check out is 11 am. We try to prepare all apartments by 13.00 hours and clean them in order of arrival. Sometimes a late departure time can be arranged.

Notes on prices:
A discount can be offered for 3 weeks or more.
