Restored and modernised cottage with private pool and garden. Peaceful but not isolated. Only 4 miles to banks and supermarkets. Half a mile to nearest restaurant. Near canal lateral, great for walking and cycling, 5 bicycles are available. The house is cool in hot weather. and there is sheltered parking. Three bedrooms. Two with en-suite.

One single room with separate toilet,

One triple room with 1 single bed, 1 King Size bed with the option of another single. En-suite bathroom.

Outside: Large private garden at rear with private pool approx. 5m X 10m, sun loungers, easy chairs and table. Flowers and shrubs around the pool which is fenced off from the main garden where there is plenty of room for children to play and ideal to keep a dog enclosed. Shaded area with large dining table and chairs with vine over. Gas BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and bed linen supplied. Pool/beach towels not supplied. Other: Large sun lounge, seats 6 or more with front entrance door.

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday

The garden and pool are beautiful and private, inside has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. David is more than happy to help if needed but doesn't intrude if not. The nearby canal and countryside provide places to explore, Bordeaux, Toulouse, the Lot and much more are within easy reach. Highly recommended for a relaxing family holiday.

Excellent property, the most well equipped gite we've ever stayed at!

Had a fantastic time here. Pool was lovely and the gite was very clean and exceptionally well equipped. Communication with the owner was always good. A perfect place for a family holiday! Would definitely come again!

Perfect holiday

A family holiday that was the best we've had! The gite was lovely with everything you could need. The pool was perfect and was much used by us all. Weather was glorious too. David McCullough was a friendly and helpful host ... nothing was too much trouble. We would all definitely recommend this holiday place to anyone. Lots of things to do if you want to but we chose to relax around the pool. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return!

Fab relaxing holiday in a heatwave

A lovely home from home (but with a pool). All clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, fine bedding and towels, comfortable bed. We had a superb time over my 60th birthday and the weather was fantastic, a bit of a heat-wave in the 40's. Some lovely restaurants in the area too and the wine was lovely.

Thank you, David, for the use of your home. We especially loved the garden and pool (think you need one of those magic robots).

A secluded gite so a car is necessary, only downside was too far for us oldies to walk to a bar.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

We had a great family holiday! The house is very well equipped and we missed nothing.

The garden is beautiful and the pool was really great! The property is located in a very calm

area and guarantees a relaxed holiday. David is available all the time if help is needed but

doesn’t intrude if not. The bikes were very helpful to explore the surroundings and the beautiful canal. The city Tonneins offers all shopping opportunities (supermarkets, butcher, bakery, post office etc).

Thank you very much David! If possible we will come again.
