Apartment in Emba near the quaint village of Tremithousa

Our beautiful spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment which will comfortably sleep 4 and is modernly furnished throughout is located towards the front of the complex, overlooking Paphos. The apartment has ample open plan living / dining / kitchen area, for a comfortable stay with dedicated wifi for our guests and UK TV Package. There are 3 balconies each offering spectacular sea views. The apartment roof terrace offers a breath taking, over 180° panoramic unrestrictive view across Paphos and Coral Bay and a spectacular sunset in the evening.

Elina House is just a short distance away from the main club house and its extensive facilities it is here you will find several outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool (winter months only) there is small gymnasium, jacuzzi and sauna. There is a restaurant and bar all located within the club house.

Further restaurants and bars are available within a 5 to 10 minute drive, supermarkets are a plenty, about a 5 to 10 minute drive so a car is highly recommended in order enjoy your stay.

Club St George is set on the outskirts of Tremithousa Village and a short drive away from the beautiful Tala village & square.

Paphos harbour and Coral Bay are just a short drive away, but if it being away from the hustle and bustle is what is required then a drive into the Troodos mountains or a visit to the Akamas National park is a must.

Around a 10 minute drive will take you to the award winning Golf Courses of Paphos, Menthis Hills being the nearest.

Rates include linen/towel set up only.

Please note that this is a no smoking apartment mainly for your comfort and that of other guests.

The apartment also has UK style 3 Pin Plug Sockets throughout.

We chose to buy on the outskirts of Tremithousa as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the busy sea front areas, yet still within easy access to Paphos and Coral Bay and more importantly to be able to experience a taste of a traditional Cypriot way of life by being near to the villages of Tremithousa and Tala.

Notes:
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 in two en suite rooms, one double & one twin. We have provided our own dedicated wifi for our guests and UK TV Package. Situated in the Club House there is a small gymnasium, hot tub and separate sauna for men and women. The Club Health Suite is situated in the basement of the Club House which offers a range of beauty treatments bookable at reception. Outside: On the Club House level there are two shared outdoor pools and an indoor pool (heated seasonal use only). There is also a restaurant with full dining service, and a bar. There is also a small play area with a climbing frame and swings.

What an amazing apartment to stay at, the furnishing is very modern and to a high quality, everything you could want has been included for you, from kitchen utensils to the TV package. Lots of helpful instruction notes around the apartment and very good communication from the owners.

A very well equipped, maintained & properly labelled property which made us feel welcome on arrival

The information provided in advance together with the map and directions from the airport were extremely helpful particuarly as we arrived in the dark late in the evening. The welome pack of bits & bobs was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

The description of the apartment was accurate. It was very well equipped to a high standard and everything that we needed was there. The only additional information required was that 13 amp three pin plugs were in the apartment as used in England.

We noted from the visitors book and speaking to Donna who called during the day after we arrived that nobody had stayed in the apartment out of season before. The last let was in October and being the only apartment of the four in Elina House which was furnished, it was quite damp on our arrival. The heating in the main room and bedrooms was used extensively whilst we were in residence as the temperature was quite low due to a considerable amount of rain and winds. We have no complaints about the actual apartment which fully met our needs but the same could not be said about Club St George complex.

It was apparent that many buildings on the complex were in various stages of completion. Our major complaint was the signifgicant amount of standing water on both the stairs and outside the front door leading into the apartment. This was extremely dangerous and was due entirely to a design fault. During the whole of our stay there was standing water across the whole of the landing outside the front door of the apartment which even covered the rubber mat at the entrance door. The stairs were permanently wet with running water down the stairs. Donna saw at first hand the situation when she called on the Monday and said she would report this to Club St George as this was both dangerous and unsatisfactory. Two maintenance men called the following day and just brushed the water down the stairs but withing a few hours the situation was just as bad as it subsequently rained. Donna had occasion to visit us again two days later and saw that the situation was no better and said she would report the matter again to the complex management.

I am sure that during the season, the water problem would not be as bad but even if there is a rain shower, the landing and stairs would be a real danger. I feel that pressure from yourself on the complex management would hopefully make a difference as this design fault could well affect future bookings for the apartment.

Owner's Response: The problem of standing water on the landing during periods of rain has now been solved with the fitment of a drain hole in the appropriate location to drain away any standing water.

Excellent apartment in a good location.

From the start booking with Joe was easy and no hassle. Joe kept us up to date with information on payments, simple directions to the complex from the airport and access to the apartment. The apartment was lovely and spotlessly clean with a welcome pack of essentials that was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon was great as we visited in the summer heat. It was great to have a reliable wifi and UK TV (though unfortunately BBC blacked out whilst Olympics were on). The apartment is in a great location for seeing the sights around Paphos and surrounding area. We would definitely recommend this apartment for a relaxing stay which is just what we wanted.

Beautiful location with stunning views. very clean

Overall a beautiful apartment and furnished to a high standard throughout with all the modern facilities needed for a very pleasant holiday stay. The welcome pack is a nice touch if your arriving late on. Joe the owner was very helpful with any questions answered regarding locations of supermarkets, restaurants etc, and also a well detailed folder within the apartment with all you need to know about Paphos and the surrounding area.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friend or relatives and will on doubt return for another holiday in the future.

Fantastic apartment with relaxation guaranteed

A fabulous, spotlessly clean and 'all mod cons' apartment awaited us on our first visit to Cyprus. We were met by Lisa and shown to the apartment, she was very knowledgeable about the local area and the facilities available on site and she was on call if we ever needed anything (a nice surprise to have this sort of service available). The welcome pack was a nice touch so even if you arrive in the middle of the night, you can have toast and jam for breakfast! With fantastic views and swimming pools which weren't over crowded, we relaxed and had a lovely week. The apartment is in a perfect location to explore the island and all it has to offer, so a car is a must and with plenty of parking available outside the apartment it was easy. Will be booking another visit soon.

Coast/Beach:

Around a 10 minute drive will take you to the beautiful blue flag beaches of Paphos and Coral Bay.

Travel:

Paphos airport is less than 25km/25-30 minutes drive away and is easily accessed via the main dual carriage way (A6). Larnaca airport 90 minutes. Car hire is highly recommended to get the best usage of the apartment and all that the surrounding area has to offer.

Distances:

Tremithousa village is a short 3 min drive or 10 min walk up the hill.

Paphos town is a short drive (8km) down the hill towards the coast in front.

Coral Bay is located down and towards the west from the resort (15km).

Around a 9 minute drive will take you to the unspoilt village of Tala with its famous square, tavernas, bars, and eateries.

Further Details:

There are few local shops in the village and several Supermarkets and Bakeries a few minutes drive away.

The complex is ideally situated for leisure activities (biking/walking/rock climbing) in the Akamas National Park and the beautiful Troodos mountains.

The breath taking Agios Neophytos Monestery is around a 3.3km drive away.

There are several diving schools in the Paphos area, and water sports are available at Coral Bay Beach.

Take in the sight of the spectacular Avagas Gorge and even try and tackle the ascent.
