Friendly spacious and thoughtfully equipped!

  • 5 of 5

We much enjoyed our stay here. Maeve is so friendly. The one bedroom cottage was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Lovely to have so much space and comfort. We particularly appreciated the welcome of our beloved cocker spaniels.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the positive feedback. You might be interested to know that I have gone mad gardening since you visited for the Chatsworth RHS Flower Show! My garden now full of roses! Maeve

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

This is our second stay at the cottage, having thoroughly enjoyed our first stay we immediately booked our second

The owner is friendly and helpful but also leaves you to yourself

The views are amazing from the cottage, apart from the cement factory in the valley some distance away who ever allowed this to be built wants shooting!!

The cottage is 10-15 minutes walk from Castelton village mostly along car free tracks which is great if you have a dog

The owner has three dogs and our jack Russell got on really well with them.

The cottage is well equipped and spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the home comforts you will need

We would thoroughly recommend the cottage and will be returning again

Amazing Weekend Break

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with our two dogs for the weekend. It was fantastic, everything you could need in walking distance. Great Walks, Welcoming Pubs and in such a beautiful part of the Peak District. The family are very welcoming and everything was perfect, can't wait to revisit.
