Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Harry Eyre Cottage. Maueve was a gracious host.

Cottage has all the key things you need including towels, good amount of cutlery, plates etc.

Comfortable beds with a choice of pillow types. Car port for 2 cars.

Convenient location with good road up to it.

Clean & tidy. Good shower. Lovely garden with table & chairs - cushions in the cupboard under the stairs!

We had a slight issue with the DVD player but Maueve sorted it within 5 mins of telling her.

Just what we needed for a girly weekend. Likely to be back next year!

Well equipped, clean, quiet cottage. Owner is helpful but unintrusive

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely weekend in a well equipped, dog & child friendly cottage with a private garden. The property is conveniently located right next to public footpaths and it's also within walking distance of Castleton. All the pubs welcome muddy boots, paws and children and the caverns are worth visiting.

And relax!!!!

  • 4 of 5

The location of this property is breath taking - out of the back door a field with lambs greeted us and beyond that the Hope Valley up to Mam Tor! Stunning. Lovely walks from your front door and a pleasant walk into Castleton itself.

The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed. In cooler months take slippers as it has a tiled floor in the main room. Very comfortable beds. A great place to have our dog with us - he had his own enclosed garden at the back and could say hello to the owners labradors too!

Owners were delightful - full of information and advice and left us to it as well.

A perfect place to relax in wonderful surroundings.
