Honfleur lovely, house in wonderful position for visits not in the height of summer. Lacks a garden. Wonderful old house with loads of character dangerous stairs even for Lither teenagers. House appeared to have been shut up for a while and needed airing for a few hours to make it smell better, when we arrived. Not suitable for young families and older people. It was an expensive holiday due to the house not being comfortable enough to stay in, of an evening. So we had to eat out most evenings. Kitchen was well equipped but poor seating.( cramped). We had a great holiday even though there were a problems.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Our advert clearly states there is no garden or outside space and this was confirmed to you, prior to your visit. The stairs are not dangerous. They are very old, spiral and in keeping with the age and character of the house. Again our advert states this and that they may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. There are also photographs of the staircases on the advert. The house had been let, every week for the month prior to your stay, with the last guests leaving in the morning before you arrived. We are therefore surprised by the comment that you felt the house had been shut up and needing airing upon your arrival. We have had many families with young children stay over the years and older people as well and we have never received complaints that it is not suitable for them. We are sorry you felt the kitchen was cramped and the house not comfortable to sit in, in the evenings. Again, this is the first time in 20 years, we have received such comments.
