About the Owner

Steven Gresty I live with my family in the West Midlands. As a family we have skied for some 35 years so we know what we are looking for in a skiing holiday. Chalet Montagne Enneige'e is a perfect base for some of the best guaranteed skiing in the world. Our chalet is a home from home experience for us, as we do appreciate the creature comforts, we therefore have it furnished and fitted out to the highest standard we are accustomed to and expect. We find on the occasional evenings after a great day skiing, nothing better than a glass of wine, dinner and a possible second glass or two, then settle down to a good movie in front of a cosy log fire, or relax in the sauna or hot tub to warm up those aching muscles, before retiring to a very comfortable bed to recharge the batteries for the next day, skiing in a great resort. You won't be disappointed !

The main meeting area for Ski school and the 8 man telecabin is 800 metres which is supported with an extensive car park.

The piano bar has live music with a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. 2 supermarkets boulangerie, patisserie, boucherie, charcuterie, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacconist and various shops and ski outlets, banks with ATM services

Culture: St.Martin is a picturesque and unspoilt open and working all year round mountain village, steeped in tradition where original wood and stone barns nestle against the mountainside and farmhouse cheese is still produced. A few hundred people live in this timeless Savoyard village truly a glittering jewel within the world famous 3 valleys. Why not visit the museum and learn more?

Attractions: Various festivals take place throughout the year with concerts in the church, weekly market selling local produce, museum, stroll back in time with a torchlight visit of this historic old village, dog sleigh rides, ski-doo rides, heli-skiing, paragliding, indoor leisure centre, beauty spa, swimming pool in leisure centre in local village. Excellent ski schools are available for first timers or those just wishing to improve their down-hill techniques. The nursery slope has a magic carpet to help the little ones along. English speaking babysitters can be arranged or alternatively the Club Piou Piou offers a range of full and half day courses introducing toddlers to skiing.

Days Out: The medieval town of Annecy with its famous lake for boating/sailing, canal system and fabulous shops and restaurants plus Chambery capital of the Savoie region with its old town are approx. 1 hour drive away, 3 golf courses at Meribel Courchevel and Annecy also within a one hour drive.
