Luxury Villa Cottage with Hot Tub ,Jacuzzi and stunning uninterrupted sea views!

Overview

Property

Updated: 31-Oct-2016
Sea front Cottage with Hot Tub Cemaes Bay , Anglesey - Luxury Holiday Cottage with Hot Tub and Amazing Stunning Uninterrupted Sea Views !

Swn y Don is a fantastic house in a fantastic location. Translated from Welsh

Swn y Don means 'Sound of the waves'. This superb detached house is situated within the pretty harbour village of Cemaes Bay. Modern ,luxurious and all on one level, the house sits on the edge of the coastal path with some of the most dramatic views on the island! Walk out of the large bi-folding doors, past the large luxury hot tub, across the well kept lawn and at the end of the Garden is the sea ! You are literally on the coastal footpath and one of the most beautiful walks in Wales ! Situated in the harbour village of Cemaes Bay with its many shops and artisan bakery and butcher, not to mention the very picturesque beach called 'Traeth mawr'. The coast line on this part of the island is wild and rugged and some would say the most beautiful part of North Wales. So similar is it to some of the coastlines further north that this stretch of coast is fondly referred to as 'Scotland Bach' or little Scotland.

SWY Y DON What a superb place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our second time here this year. Beautiful, spacious house, every facility. Hot tub -real treat watching setting sun. Amazing views, walks along the coastal path end of the garden and the village and harbour delightful. The ship Inn Red Wharf Bay and the White Eagle are our favourite pubs.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful home for a long lazy weekend. In total there was 4 adults and 4 children which the house is more than suitable for. It has a well appointed kitchen with everything you require, including a very handy wine fridge!

Large rooms for the adults to relax in, we turned one of them into a play room for our children.

The large garden has direct access to the coastal path that leads to the lovely little village centre where we skimmed stones and did a bit of crabbing (the children excelled!).

Relaxing in the hot tub was a touch of luxury in the evening.

Mark and Lorraine where very quick to respond to any enquiries we had and a pleasure to deal with.

Can't wait to come back.

Perfect setting and beautiful accommodation.

  • 5 of 5

The surroundings are breathtaking and the cottage was very spacious and provided for the needs of 4 generations! The accommodation is all on one level and suited my grandparents and young children perfectly. There is a lovely bright and airy feel to the place and the decor is finished to a very high standard throughout. The large enclosed garden was ideal and safe for the children to play. We made the most of having the coastal path so accessible at the end of the garden and went on many walks with breathtaking views and were able to observe a family of sea otters each morning from the garden!! I can honestly say that this is the only place we've stayed where the photos cannot capture how wonderful it is! The hot tub was also a lovely way to relax at the end of the day.

We wish we were back there now! The village of Camaes is quaint and friendly and we would recommend Beaumauris Castle and Foal Farm Park. We also did the Velocity zip wire at zip world in Bethesda which was incredible but not for the faint hearted!!

It goes without saying, we will be back, thanks!

Delightful accommodation in a delightful setting.

Everything was just as described. It was clean and in good order. Everything worked correctly.

The coastal path is literally through the gate at the bottom of the garden allowing easy access to walks and beaches.

A superb setting for a holiday.

Beautiful House

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, exceptionally clean house. Loved the sea view and the hot tub. Owners were very approachable and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Would also highly recommended the food at the local Harbour Hotel. We found the staff there, and throughout the town, to be incredibly friendly. Well done, Cemaes, you made a great first impression.

Fantastic location, beautiful house, idyllic!

  • 5 of 5

This house is so lovely for a large group of people as there are many rooms to enjoy. The annex is ideal for those that want to have more privacy but the làyout suits families and friends alike. The coastal path is through the garden gate an opens up the beautiful bay with stunning sea views! Highly recommend.
