Swn y Don is a fantastic house in a fantastic location. Translated from Welsh
Swn y Don means 'Sound of the waves'. This superb detached house is situated within the pretty harbour village of Cemaes Bay. Modern ,luxurious and all on one level, the house sits on the edge of the coastal path with some of the most dramatic views on the island! Walk out of the large bi-folding doors, past the large luxury hot tub, across the well kept lawn and at the end of the Garden is the sea ! You are literally on the coastal footpath and one of the most beautiful walks in Wales ! Situated in the harbour village of Cemaes Bay with its many shops and artisan bakery and butcher, not to mention the very picturesque beach called 'Traeth mawr'. The coast line on this part of the island is wild and rugged and some would say the most beautiful part of North Wales. So similar is it to some of the coastlines further north that this stretch of coast is fondly referred to as 'Scotland Bach' or little Scotland.
This partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
Swn Y Don has unrivalled views. Being the last property at the edge of village the property benefits from stunning uninterrupted Sea views and countryside views.
"What a wonderful property. The owners have done themselves proud. Right from entering the property we had a warm welcome from the owners. As we are a big family and all different ages it accommodated us all so well. Spent great nights under the night sky, in the fantastic hot tub. Wonderful views of the sea and coastline. What can we say but to sum it up as wonderful. You must go !!!" Debbie and Robert Harper

"The best cottage we have stayed in" Mitchell family
"Amazing views, lovely house and chilled in the hot tub, Fab " Birch family
We had a fantastic holiday. Everyday we were astounded by the setting and the beauty regardless of the weather. The house was extremely comfortable and exceptionally presented. Hugely spacious for our family of five (including three young children) as well as two grandparents. We used it as a base to explore the whole of Anglesey, which was very accessible and amazingly stunning - some of the best beaches in the world. This is certainly on the shortlist for retirement locations and hope to visit again soon.
Mark and Lorraine were exceptional hosts; waiting for us on our arrival and available to answer any questions throughout our stay.
The 8 of us (plus doggy) throughly enjoyed our short-break here: especially the hot-tub, the beautiful sea-views and the (on arrival) gorgeously set dining table. The property was clean, welcoming, well presented and well-equipped throughout.
The cottage is ideally situated; private, yet extremely close to the village (either by road or coastal path) and surrounded by beautiful walks and amenities. The local store 'McColls' was adequately stocked and we would also recommend the nearby Gwesty Gadlys Hotel for beautiful food and atmosphere. The Stag Inn was very cheap, dog friendly and cheerful enough, but sadly I would not recommend the food.
We enjoyed a wonderful coastal walk during our stay; however do take adequate and appropriate footwear, as some of the paths were quite slippy and treacherous in places!
I really can't praise the property, the owners and the experience enough; it made our first visit to Anglesey and my birthday extra-special - so many many thanks. I hope to return one day and have already recommended it to friends!
Very comfortable, spacious accommodation. House beautifully decorated and amazing views.
What a beautiful place to spend our holiday. All the beds were really comfortable so everyone enjoyed a good nights sleep after walks around Caemaes bay.
The hot tub was amazing, and the views were fantastic. The owner's were extremely helpful and over all a brilliant place to stay, would highly recommend!
Another fantastic holiday at Swn Y Don. Excellent facilities - you can't beat an afternoon in the hot tub with the sea at the bottom of the garden. Perfect location. Will be back!
Excellent property, modern and clean. Fantastic views, and very spacious, would recommend. The hot tub is big, with views of the sea and surrounding countryside.
