Ma Lande is the ground floor apartment of a two story beach house set in a private enclosure with other houses and apartments. We are 100 metres from the beach and main seafront boulevard at Hossegor Beach (Place Centrale) with its seafront restaurants, bars, cafes and ice cream vendors. It is a ten minute walk back into Hossegor town with its covered market, designer shops, restaurants and bars and to Hossegor Lac which is a unique tidal lake suitable for swimming and water sports and home to Lac oysters and beautiful scenic restaurants and oyster bars. The beaches at Hossegor and just up the coast at Seignosse are world famous for surfing and offer unspoilt sand dunes and low key restaurants and bars. The property is unusual in having its own secluded patio area and private off street parking and is popular with families, groups of friends and dedicated surfers alike.

About Simon & Patricia Hill

We have been married for 27 years and have two grown up children. We have lived and worked in London nearly all our adult lives but both adore the coast. When time came to buy a property in France we were advised to think of the coast as teenagers prefer a little more life in their holiday destinations than most rural locations offer. As teenagers we both fell in love with the Atlantic surfing coast and Trish worked in Anglet, so whilst holidaying in the area, Trish said "lets try Hossegor, I loved it when I was here before" and as soon as we walked up the drive we squeezed each other's hand as we knew we'd found our dream house. Since then we've poured love and (a lot of cash!) into making Petit Trianon a real family home and hope you love it too.

Why Simon & Patricia Hill chose Adour Landes Oceanes - Hossegor

We took a dear friend to look at the flat but she felt it needed too much work and so we bought it ourselves! The flat is a real rare gem in its own private enclave. Quiet and cool yet with its own terrace, private parking and all just two minutes from the beach! We've kept it simple with sandstone tiles throughout to keep it cool and decorated it in a sea side theme. The flat is perfect for families and small groups of friends being right by the main surfing and swimming beaches and seafront restaurants and bars so you are only a short walk from home.

What makes this apartment unique

What is very unusual is how quiet and cool the flat is in high season as its sheltered at the front by the dune. The terrace is definitely unique for a property of this size and this location offering shade in the heat of the day and secluded outside dining behind the high hedges. We have a separate outside shower, storage areas and WC which makes it very popular with surfies out of season and have many regulars who come every year.

Outside: The apartment has a secluded patio area at the front with outside dining table and chairs and an electric awning that can be extended over the table to afford protection from the sun or rain. A gas BBQ is provided. Utility Room: There is a washing machine in the outside shower room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, bath towels and bed making is included in peak season pricing but otherwise costs ten Euro per person. The apartments cleaned at the end of tenant stays but tenants are expected to clean the property thoroughly before departure. Other: There is a storage room outside with access from the patio where the BBQ is kept together with spare gas bottles for the cooker and BBQ.

You will not regret it

I have been visiting Hossegor for some years, you cannot get a better location or accommodation for the same cost. It quiet, a minute or two from the beach, you can park your car and just use the footpaths or cycle lanes, it really is a gem, Simon and Patricia are fantastic. I could not recommend it more.

perfect little gem

on arrival we were instantly hit by how true to life the accommodation is to to the description and photos. It felt like a home away from home , everything we needed was there.

Location was ideal for the beach and with a good restaurants nearby, and most needed in Hossegor car parking !!! We will definitely we will revisiting & recommend this little gem of a beach retreat . Thank you simon & patricia x

Great location, great value

This apartment is a real gem and surprisingly quiet, given its location. It was exactly as described and we had a truly great two week summer holiday with our three children,

We loved the proximity to both the beach and the river, plus all the shopping! Hossegor town is exceptionally busy in summer, but that's because it's such a brilliant place.

Would most definitely recommend.

Appartement à refaire complètement ! Tout est sale, toiles d araignée partout jusque dans les placards, vaisselle et placard crasseux, draps mangés par les mites. Pas de fenêtre dans les chambres. Peu de bouches d aération et surtout jamais nettoyées, irrespirable ! Bac de douche pas assez profond, donc l eau coule dans la SDB à chaque douche. Grille pain et bouilloir rouillé. Nous avons du faire le ménage en arrivant. Araignées mortes et minons sous les lits. Scandaleux de louer un appartement dans cet état. Le seule point positif est l emplacement. 10mn du centre et 2mn de l océan. Propriétaires sympas car ils nous ont laissé partir au bout de 2jours et nous ont remboursé, mais ils doivent absolument refaire cet appartement, revoir l aération et la propreté !

Booking Notes:
25% deposit payable on booking with completed rental agreement. Balance two months before your stay with a £400 deposit cheque or which we return after your stay provided there is no unrepairable damage which there very very rarely is but we have had the odd problem over the years.

Changeover Day:
Always Saturday except very occasionally out of season. Access from 4pm , vacate by 10am please so we can get the apartment cleaned and the beds changed.
