Welcome to paradise in walking distance to a quaint village with many amenities and one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve known as "Praia da Falesia". Large 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on the second floor of a three story walkup apartment building. Outdoor space includes two large terraces over looking the square of shops.

I am a Physical Education teacher, who loves to travel, enjoy sightseeing, all types of sports, water-sports, and of course relaxing on the beach. I truly love the Algarve location, and would like to get the word out on how beautiful it is, so that we could get as many people as possible to enjoy all that Algarve has to offer.

Why Scott Sousa chose Albufeira

My parents purchased our condo in this particular location because of the close proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, "Falesia Beach." I have recently taken over the reigns to my families Algarve apartment. I personally love the location of our apartment as there is something for everyone to enjoy. whether you are into water sports, golf, night-life, sightseeing, or just simply relaxing. There is something for everyone down in the Algarve.

Great place, Wonderful people

We started out trip in San Martin do Porto and ended it at Falesia beach.

Both apartments were clean and well appointed. Maria and Scott went out of their way to make sure we found the places and were welcomed with bottles of wonderful Portuguese wine. Scott bought our first round of great Portuguese beer. They proceeded at both locations to show us around so that we would get well oriented to the area and the best places to eat and things to see. The Falesia Beach apartment is very conveniently located above a supermarket for procuring fresh bread in the morning and restocking the wine. The oranges are the best I have ever tasted and I lived in Florida for a while. The beach is only a few blocks walk and it is beautiful. There is also a tour office across the street from the supermarket where we booked excursion tours to as far away as Gibraltar and Cape Saint Vincent. Overall a great couple of places to stay and if our travels again take us to Portugal we will call Scott.

A hidden gem!

This being the first time that I had booked an apartment independently of the big holiday companies I was a little concerned that the apartment may not be as advertised. However, let me tell you it is exactly that and more!

The owner, Scott was from the start marvellous. He couldn't have been more helpful and prompt with any communications we had via e mail before we arrived in Portugal.

We only stayed for four nights but we could have stayed much longer. The apartment is very spacious and although it doesn't have air conditioning we found that if we kept the windows and patio doors open we benefited from the Atlantic breeze and never felt uncomfortable.

The two balconies look over the small square where there are a few nice restaurants and the usual tourist shops. It was a great place to sit and have our meals and watch the world go by. There is a cocktail bar below which played music until midnight. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine enjoying the atmosphere whilst the kids were asleep in their bedroom. The twin bedroom is at the other side of the apartment and is thus quiet and probably cooler which was perfect for our two children.

The apartment is two minutes from a decent sized supermarket where you can get all you need. It had a bakery at the back where we could get fresh bread from each morning and some yummy Portuguese tarts! The restaurants are a mix of Portuguese, pizza, Chinese and a fantastic place which is the Portuguese version of Nandos where they have an all you can eat and drink bbq on a Saturday night.

The beach is a ten minute walk away. You could maybe do it quicker but I think that's a realistic time when you have two kids and a dinghy to carry! There are lots of steps down to the beach but don't let it put you off. I can honestly say it was one of the best beaches we have ever been to. Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas to shade you from the midday sun. It was full of families and no signs of any stag or hen nights! The water was warm enough to spend hours in ( we had heard it can be cold). It is tidal, so calmer in the morning but by mid afternoon the waves give the impression of being in a swimming pool with the wave machine turned on! Our kids had so much fun and quite happily spent ten hours a day in the water!

All in all a great base for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Thank you Scott, and you were right the oranges from the region are sublime!

Extremely spacious, everything you need in a fantastic area super close to the beach

We spent 7 nights here. Me, my partner, two young children and my grandmother.

Both rooms are a great size with the master having its own balcony and en suite. Both rooms have built in cupboards.

The living/dining room is really big with the kitchen having an open counter, big dining table with enough chairs for all of us.

There are two sofa beds in the living room and a large balcony with a clothes airer.

We were more than comfortable.

There is an ironing board and iron, washing machine, fridge, cooker and all cooking essentials, plates, cups etc.

The two balconies face out to a square where there are bars, restaurants and shops. There was music downstairs most nights.

There's also a supermarket round the corner and a tourism office over the road. We Managed to go to slide and splash and zoomarine through them as they have their own shuttle service if you don't have your own car. Bit of a drive but totally worth it.

To get to the beach you cross the road walk a few minutes and you come to the cliff that overlooks it. You then walk down and then down some steps to the sand. We did the walk back and forth twice a day even with two children and my grandmother to go back and eat as well as avoid the peak heat times. Wasn't far at all.

There isn't a lot else in the area unless you have a car the supermarket is all you have for groceries etc but they do stock a lot.

I have to say that the best part of the whole experience was dealing with the owner Scott who was absolutely amazing. Always ready to reply to any question and super helpful giving us information on all the available establishments.

I cannot recommend this place enough it was a pleasure to 'live' in and we are totally keeping the details to go back again.

Great location

We loved everything about our stay here. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. We loved this location. We were only a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches and had easy access to shops and restaurants. We loved and highly reommend the Saturday evening buffet/bbq at Frango Real.

This was a perfect spot for our family oriented, beach vacation. We were only a short ride from the many shops and restaurants of Villamoura and Albufeira. Having the ticket office accross the street was very convenient for planning our activities in other parts of Algarve. Thank you Scott. You were very helpful and responsive in helping us plan this vacation.

Great apartment, great area, great holiday!

I was looking for a holiday which would have kept the children (8. 10 and 14 years old) busy while the wife and I could relax. With the amazing beach being less than 5 minutes walk and the number of restaurants around the apartment, we were not disappointed. The apartment itself is exactly as has been described and accommodated us perfectly. We had no issues getting to the apartment as Scott provided details of a pre-book taxi service which I arranged online before the trip. The area itself is perfect for families. It's clean and very relaxed. We were all disappointed to be leaving - the true sign of a great time had by all! I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and this area for a great holiday - we will definitely be coming back!

Falesia paradise

Just back from a great week staying in this lovely apartment. . Its location is fantastic right nx to 5 or 6 great restaurants and so close to the beach it's unreal.. The apartment is a very large 2 bed with all the home from home comforts you could wish for.Scott who owns the property has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and even interupted his honeymoon to enquire if all was ok with our stay.. would l stay here again..your damm tooting we will..cheers Scott..john Elaine & lucy
