About the property

Central but quiet location just minutes from the ski lifts. Stunning mountain views. Spacious, sunny balcony.

Located just off the main street in Les Deux Alpes our apartment is in a well maintained and recently renovated building with private car parking for guests. A minutes walk takes you to the nearest ski lift or to the free shuttle bus, however it is only a five minute walk to the new Diable high speed chair lift or ten minutes (less without ski boots!) to the Jandri gondola. Our apartment is truly our second home and is furnished and equipped to make your holiday comfortable and easy. Suitable for families, couples or friends you will find everything you need to make your holiday stress free. Detailed information is provided on activities available and we are happy to answer any questions you may have, you will also be contacted prior to arrival by our English representative who will be your point of contact during your stay.

About Sally Quinn

My name is Sally and I am married to Simon and we have two children, Amy and Callum. We all love the mountains in summer and winter and the range of outdoor activities that there are to do, we ski, snowboard, telemark, skate, sledge, mountain bike, hike, swim and play tennis amongst other things. Each year in Les Deux Alpes we discover something new to do and if you have any questions about activities then just ask and we will do our best to ensure you have a great holiday!

Why Sally Quinn chose Les Deux Alpes

Simon and I met whilst working ski seasons and as soon as we were able to do so we fulfilled a dream by buying our apartment in Les Deux Alpes, enabling us to teach our children to ski/snowboard and to hopefully enjoy the mountains as much as we do! Les Deux Alpes offers us year round snow and activities, Simon is often to be found in the snowpark on the glacier in the summer and I have discovered the adrenaline fuelled sport of downhill mountain biking. We love the fact that being a high resort the snow conditions remain great right through until the end of April and there are enough runs at all levels to keep everyone happy. We really hope that you will enjoy our second home as much as we do!

We are fortunate to be able to spend around 3 months a year in Les Deux Alpes so our apartment really is a home from home and is designed, furnished and equipped to make maximum use of space and enable you to be comfortable and at home straight away. Our representative in resort will contact you prior to your arrival and be a point of contact during your holiday to ensure things run smoothly.

  • The bathroom has a full sized bath, a powerful shower and continuous hot water. Plenty of shelves, hooks and towel rails, as well as an over bath drying rack, providing space for everything. There is a separate toilet.

Notes:
Outside: The large dual aspect balcony has a table and four chairs and is the perfect place to watch the action on the mountain at the end of a day, to enjoy a cup of coffee on a sunny winter's morning or dinner on a summer's evening. We have a travel cot and lightweight pushchair available for use. There is a hairdryer, iron and clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen service: Bedlinen and towels are provided and are charged at €15 per person, payable in resort to our representative. A cleaning charge of €50 is payable in resort to our representative.

An ideal location and well equipped

This lovely apartment is centrally located in Les Deux Alpes just a short walk from shops, restaurants and slopes but not so close that you get disturbed by traffic or people noise. The apartment is wonderfully warm and comfortable and a pleasure to come back to after a day on the slopes. The block is clean and when we were there everyone was quiet at night even though we stayed over New Year. The owner is very easy to deal with and happy to answer. any questions. We would definitely consider staying here again either in the winter for skiing or summer for walking.

A fabulous, modern and clean apartment in a great location.

The apartment was in a well maintained block with the most amazing dual aspect balcony. It was well furnished and perfect for our needs. It was very close to the slopes (right next door to one of the lifts) and very close to the bars and restaurants - but set back from the main road enough so as not to be noisy. Would definitely recommend!

Summer break, great apartment and location

My wife, daughter and I stayed in Sally and Simon’s apartment for a week in early July. We often visit the French Alps for skiing in the winter months but fancied exploring the area in summer. The apartment was as described and Sally provided a great list of suggested activities including the relevant days for local markets etc. which was great knowledge. My daughter slept really well in a cot that was provided. The apartment location is very central and every morning we walked to the local Boulangerie for fresh bread.

The weather was late 20’s early 30’s for the entire week without a cloud in the sky. There is no end of available activities to suit everyone. We particularly enjoyed the canoe trip in Bourg-d'Oisans which is suitable to all ages. We had one canoe for a family of three.

Les Deux Alpes has a manmade lake with a beach and waterfall which gives you a mix of a beach holiday in the Mountains. We also spent hours at the bottom of the slopes on the inflatables and the luge.

We hope to return again soon to explore further.

Beautiful apartment with the most amazing view

We stayed in this very nice apartment for our first skiing holiday, we are a couple in our late 20s/early 30s. The apartment is very nice inside with a very modern kitchen, but the view is something else....WOW! Pretty nice to wake up to that every morning.

Also very centrally placed in the resort, we would come back here in a heartbeat. :)

Hope to be back next year!

Special interest holidays:

If you enjoy the mountains in winter, why not try them for a summer holiday too? The glacier is open every morning from June to August for skiing and snowboarding, with the snow park attracting people from all over the world. Downhill mountain biking is a must for adrenaline junkies and with graded runs there is something for everyone. The large open air heated pool and ice rink are popular afternoon activities as are the luge, go karts and climbing wall. Bouncy castles, trampolines, playparks and the skate park as well as tennis courts and a golf course mean you will never hear a cry of "I'm bored!". Pedestrian passes are available for walking and there is a beautiful man made lake with beach at the end of town. Oh and I haven't even begun to mention nearby activities such as white water rafting, climbing, waterfalls, the Ecrins national park, camping...I could go on....if you would like to know more then I will be happy to answer any questions!

Travel:

Nearest airports are Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva. Onward travel is available through transfer buses to the resort or car hire. Once in resort it is not necessary to have a car, everything is walking distance and there is a free shuttle bus around the town. Driving time from Calais is around 9-10 hours.
