Thanks for a wonderful stay. Your house is not only beautiful but it really feels like home. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back. I.C.

We are spreading the name up here in Scotland that Kinderhook is the place to stay when visiting West Sussex. It is a perfect luxury retreat. wow factor included! M.&M. R.

You could not have done more to make us comfortable in your beautiful home. We enjoyed our evening walks around the quiet estuary and our visits to Chichester and East Sussex. W & A

I really felt it was a second home away from my home. I will be planning another trip with my family next summer. thank you S.G

Immaculate house close to beach, marina, and Chichester

  • 5 of 5

wonderful family vacation over Christmas 2016, with the clans gathering from around the UK and overseas. House is exactly as in the photos, with comfy beds and a beautiful garden; very clean, cozy dining room and two sitting rooms (useful for different age groups!). Beautiful owner's bedroom suite; house is quiet but close to pubs and not far from shops, plus a spectacular sandy beach at Wittering that was ideal for walking off those extra Christmas pounds! Easily contactable hosts. Very enjoyable overall.

A home of real character with all the amenities for a very pleasant stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable week at Kinderhook. The house is full of character and is comfortably furnished. There was plenty of room for the whole family, which consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty to do locally with great coastal walks, good cycling, a fantastic beach at West Wittering and of course the Marina. An excellent local pub, The Lamb, provided a few enjoyable lunches and the Town of Winchester is well worth a visit with it's very impressive cathedral. Overall there was something for everyone and all members of our party enjoyed our stay, both adults and children. We would certainly recommend Kinderhook and the area in general.

Great

  • 4 of 5

Great property, slightly worried by the requirement to know the full names of all guests and list of rules seemed a bit ott, but understandable as this is their home.

Lovely house owners were welcoming.

Excellent Stayat kindelbrook

  • 5 of 5

A really great weekend was spent by the whole family all Nine of us. The house was fantastic with all modern appliances

We were welcomed by the owner who gave us a good conducted tour of the house and grounds

This was a family gathering with young children who had plenty of room to run around and they had great fun exploring the very well kept garden. The bedrooms were excellent and well furnished

Mealtimes were spent with all Nine of us sitting round a grand table and enjoying each other company this was my highlight of the weekend to have everybody together.

With the weather being kind to us we all managed a fairly long walk and a few drinks and we found the local area very interesting quite and restful

Thank you John for letting us stay at your warm and friendly house Can we come back again
