The Lochside setting with a private beach area is one of the many treats that make this light, bright modernised and extended Crofter's Cottage an extremely comfortable well equipped and flexible home in which to enjoy a perfect holiday with family and friends.

There is a South facing terrace with spectacular loch and mountain views, a tranquil orchard, a walled garden plus 35 acres of space full of wildlife and the Loch with fishing for two rods.

The large Family Room/Dining Room with its vaulted ceiling and wood burning stove is an ideal place to gather together whilst the second, cosy Sitting Room with its open fire, allows time for peace and relaxation.

Relaxing and eating on the Terrace or in the Conservatory places you right in the famous Queen's View.

The Modern Kitchen is fully equipped, easy to use and the perfect place for your familly and friends to cook together.

There are four very comfortable bedrooms including a Master with en suite, a second bedroom with a double bed, a Twin Room with two single beds, both with combed ceilings, and a Bunk Room for four children plus two further bathrooms. The House sleeps a maximum of 6 Adults and 4 Children.

For the Baillies, David, Julia, James and Flora, Chamberbhan is all about family and friends. David's extended family farm over the hill and he spent all his childhood summers here with his Grandmother. It has been a joy to bring our children, our friends and their children to share the amazing experiences of David's childhood in these hills and on these Lochs. It truly is a special place.

Excellent cottage in spacious grounds.

Clean, comfortable, well presented and maintained family cottage, with everything included such as TV, DVD, books, barbeque and good kitchen facilities needed for a family holiday, even firewood for living room fire. Outside spacious grounds with various mysterious paths to the wooded area and around old buildings leading down to the loch side perfect for all ages to explore. Excellent views to loch from conservatory. Our week stay was too short to enjoy both the tranquility of the cottage and trips to local towns and shops.

Bonus was the Loch Tummel Inn located a few hundred yards away on the main road above the cottage, perfect for an enjoyable meal out.

Would recommend this cottage to anyone, and hopefully we will be able to revisit next year.

Chamberbhan is situated on Loch Tummel for fishing, sailing, swimming and surrounded by the Tay Forest Part, part of Perthshire's Big Tree Country, for walking, Munroe bagging, birdwatching (Osprey) and cycling.

The Caledonian Etape Cycle Race route passes the top of the drive.

Whitewater Rafting, Canyoning, Bungee Jumping plus other Adventure Sports are available locally in 'Adventure Perthshire'.

Sailing is available locally and Loch Tummel has a Sailing Club

All the Traditional Field Sports are available including stalking and shooting.
