The property is in a very peaceful Location with swimming pool overlooking the valley and set in 15 acres of wooded land. Spacious 4 bedrooms, large livingroom

The property is a spacious (350 sqm) stone built beautifully converted Barn with it's own swimming pool overlooking the valley with views to die for. Set in 15 acres of land, mostly wooded with fruit, nut trees and a pond. It is a secluded property, offering privacy and tranquillity and wholly for your own use. Few minutes drive from the nearest village and with plenty to see and do in the local area. The area is surrounded by historical Bastide towns and villages with excellent restaurants and bars. Superb vineyards within the area, must be sampled. The gourmet kitchen is modern with views and with plenty of equipment, fine bone China plates, Zwilling cutlery, pans. Plenty of pool loungers are provided so you can relax and enjoy the pool area. Garden and pool contract are in place for regular cleaning and maintenance throughout the summer period. 1 hour from Bergerac airport and 1.5 hours from Toulouse airport.

Why Paul Kearsley chose Beauville

I came to this area to visit a friend, I had never been to this part of France before. I feel in love with it, and decided this is where I would like to live and retire.

I bought the barn, because it was spacious, and it is ideal for parties. I loved the views. and because there were no neighbours close to me, I didn't have to worry about how loud I play my music or when watching action films.

The property is private and secluded, but with easy access to shops, airports, motorways and big cities.

There is great social life in the area, if you want to be part of it.

There are a great selection of excellent restaurants in the area, as it is in the gastronomic part of France.

There are many vineyards in the area, where you can sample the local produce

What makes this barn unique

I like the tranquillity, privacy and the views.

I really enjoy having my dinner on the patio next to the swimming pool watching the sunset on warm summer evenings

When my friends and family visit, having a spacious property means we are not on top of each other, and there are parts of the house and garden one can go to for solitary moments/hours.

Sometimes we have rowdy parties to the early hours of the morning, with the full knowledge we are not disturbing the neighbours, as I don't have any.

In the months of July and August on a Friday evening, there is the night market, where chairs and tables are placed in the village (Beauville) square. On the edge of the square the locals sell cooked food. Normally there is a band for entertainment.

Notes on accommodation: Due to the building being built from stone, the property remains cool, when outside is very hot. The property is very spacious. There are no immediate neighbours, so need not worry about disturbing anyone. The property is set in 15 acres of it own land mostly wooded area with paths, fruit and nut trees own and pound. There is about an acre of grass surrounding the property. The property is surrounded by farmland Outside: The property is set in 15 acres of wooded land, about 1 acer surrounding the house is grass. There is a patio area next to kitchen with large table and chairs and a second patio west facing with barbecue next to the swimming pool also with table and chairs. The private swimming pool is 5m x 12m, 90 cm to 180 cm deep. Large number of sun loungers round the swimming pool are provided. 2 large tables with chairs and Cantilever Parasol at the patio close to the swimming pool. Small table with 2 chairs in garden for solitude moments Utility Room: There is a utility room adjacent to the kitchen, which contains storage space and a additional cooking equipments Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, bath towel, hand towel will be provided Additional cleaning requests can be facilitated locally at guest request and payment. Other: Large room (70 sqm) adjacent to the living room (referred to as game room), overlooking the swimming, contains Pool table, cross trainer, sofa, fridge. There is also Table Tennis

Beautiful and peaceful area, lovely house.

Such a peaceful area...the photos don't do it justice- you could stare out at the valley all day. House is really spacious and well equipped. Felt really at home there. Local area v quiet so you do need a car to get to supermarket etc. Such a special place to spend a few wks. Would love to go back.

Excellent place 5*

2 families stayed 4 adults 6 children, after our long drive the sat nav took us straight there as owner stated. On arrival the drive was well worth it, the house is amazing stunning huge, private secure for the kids lots of land and plenty of room in the house to hideaway if that's what you want, the pool was great size we could all get in, played games, everything we needed was there. would definitely recommend and return. loved it, amazing views and quiet.

Lovely house for a holiday

The house was in good condition with lots of room inside and out. Very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Big kitchen with sitting area, another dining table, two soft sitting areas, pool table etc. Outside two sitting areas with tables, lovely pool and great views. Very quiet part of France with tidy villages, nice places to eat great place, top quality !!!

Good and well equipped

This is a property which is well equipped and well situated. It represents fair value for money and is ideal for a young family looking to stay put at a place with amenities (including pool) and not needing a lot of local night life. Deer, hares and other wildlife in the immediate surroundings adds a rural feel. We enjoyed it. The only negatives - not enough to spoil a relaxing week - were that the cess pit should ideally be situated a bit further away from the house (we sometimes experience related smells in the house, especially after rain). Also the internet connection is so patchy it is effectively redundant.

Lovely, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings

This was our second holiday at Petrussan and we loved it just as much this year. The house is amazingly well-equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The children spent hours in the pool and we all loved the pool table and the adults used the cross-trainer. This area of France is very beautiful and we have always found everyone to be very welcoming and friendly. We may be back for a third visit!

Great location, very peaceful

Fantastic location I have enjoyed the peace and quiet + lovely surroundings.

Weather has been perfect hot and dry all week

Had a meal out at Le Moulin de Dausse very enjoyable and excellent food.

Pool and house were great have enjoyed space and garden.

The area is dotted with beautiful Bastide villages generally situated on top of a hill with imposing views, they tend to have excellent restaurants and bars.

Most villages in the area have night markets in the months of July and August. The night market mainly consist eating area in the village market square surrounded by food vendors, and generally there is entertainment.

The area is surrounded by vineyards, which are well worth visiting and sampling their wines
