This well presented holiday home is ideal for couples for families. It is centrally located in the heart of Ventnor, a haven for good restaurants and quirky shopping! The award winning blue flagged sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk whilst the glorious Steephill Cove is a picturesque stroll along the cliffs. The property has recently been refurbished providing a peaceful and comfortable retreat. Three good sized bedrooms comfortably sleep 6 with 2 bathrooms and one en suite. Unlimited WiFi and flat screen TV and DVD are provided. We hope you love the cottage as much as we do!

Spotlessless clean property, handy for Ventnor town centre & beach

We arrived to a spotlessly clean, well equipped cottage. Overall a very pleasant stay. Enclosed courtyard a bonus as children could roam about safely.

Shame the washing machine wasnt working as we were staying for 2wks and really needed it. The owner tried their best to get it fixed and the engineer did arrive towards the end of our holiday.

Communication with the owner was quick & efficient.

Cottage handy for the town and beach although we didnt really use the beach here as we prefered one further along the coast.

Town was lovely with quaint, independant shops. An extremely delicious ice cream parlour called the Ventorian' is a must!

Our only real complaint was the parking. I cannot recommend this house if you have a buggy/small children/infirm or unfit! Unless you are prepared to pay to park in the local carpark (approx £40 per wk) it is quite a trek to find anywhere to leave your car. Steep hills & steps will need to be walked and it is a bit hit and miss as to where you will be able to park as most nearby roads are double yellow lines. We overcame the problem of carrying beach bags/surfboards/picnic bags etc to the car by the 'man of the house' fetching the car and us loading up by the front door!

Central, clean and cosy by the coast! Recommend!!

The property is situated in a most central location, yet tucked away in a private courtyard. Excellent access the high street shops, restaurants, bars and within walking distance to the lovely Ventnor beach. The house is very clean and homely with a fully equipped kitchen. The downstairs shower handy for showering off after a day at the beach. Cosy lounge, comfy beds and would recommend!

Fantastic cottage in a great location

Everything wanted and needed for our family holiday. Our grandchildren loved the courtyard outside and soon became friends with other children. People in the courtyard very friendly and gave us plenty of good advice on places to visit and eat. We had a wonderful time and completely fell in love with the place, children didn't want to leave. 😃👍

Delightful home from home

This was our first time on the Isle of Wight so we were slightly in the dark as to what to expect. We needn't have worried: this charming house was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, clean and close to all the amenities (1 minute away) and to the sea front (about 4 minutes away) with its restaurants and lovely pubs; the Spyglass Inn in particular proved popular with our family.

One side of the house looks onto a quiet side road, the other onto a safe, child friendly communal courtyard, secured by coded gate. Despite its closeness to the high street, the house and courtyard were quiet and we had no problem sleeping at night in the comfy beds.

We were concerned that there was no parking on site, but this proved not to be a problem as we were able to park for free just a few short minutes away on a quiet residential street.

We'd certainly return here for another stay.

High quality, well located seaside home

We loved the location of this property in the heart of Ventnor. Its close to the beach and shops. The property is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and has everything you need for a seaside break. Cleanliness was excellent and beds were very comfortable. We?d highly recommend this property.
