I live in England , and try to spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

We love our villa because it is near the beautiful spanish village of Benalmadena pueblo with lots of amenities .

There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. It is also close to golf course, shops and transport.

There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Malaga airport less than thirty minutes drive away.

The property is just ten minutes walk from Benalmadena pueblo located in a quiet, exclusive gated community , five minutes drive from the fabulous beach of Benalmadena costa. Very Good Villa

Following a snap decision to take a few days holiday, my wife, my son and I spent 4 days at the villa in Benaldmedena.

The spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation had all the requirements for a relaxing stay. The villa was beautifully decorated, the cooking facilities were excellent and the bathrooms were of an equally high standard. There were stunning views of the sea and the mountains from the downstairs terrace. There was also an upstairs terrace with equally wonderful views together with a range of comfortable lounging furniture and a barbecue. My son had almost always exclusive access to the very good communal pool, which was just a few steps from the villa, therefore he spent a lot of time swimming.

However, the TV and the WIFI did not work. When we attempted to access the WIFI we got a message saying that the subscription had to renewed. Presumably that is why the TV would not work either.

I would seriously recommend that anyone holidaying in this villa hire a car for the duration of their stay otherwise they will have some heavy duty walking or spend a lot of money on taxis. I also believe that it would be helpful if GPS coordinates could be given to visitors to allow them to find the villa easily.

A car is useful, but the bus stop is only a few minutes walk if people prefer not to drive. Gps coordinates might be useful for people driving. Great spacious house set in the mountains

Very quiet area and definitely need a car. One or 2 residents not really lovers of holiday makers and drop unsubtle hints about rules etc but if you ignore that, it's a lovely safe place to holiday and owners were very helpful and always answered any queries quickly. House very clean and spacious and easily accommodated 7 of us plus a 2 year old. Great travel cot provided. Great views from roof terrace, witnessed an electrical storm one night from here, fantastic spot!

Relaxing haven

What a relaxing break away from the city. The pretty garden was an oasis with the pool so clean and fresh. The house is so spacious and just redecorated in and out, with brand new bed linen and towels a bit of lux. The roof terrace with amazing views and comfy sofas was perfect for evening cocktails. We chilled out with some British films on the android box, spoilt for choice though. We also enjoyed a meander around the beautiful village, it has lots of tapas bars and restaurants. You won't be disappointed by the pizza at El Parador, soo good. For a classy evening La Perla was excellent. Be back soon I hope!

Nice location

The photgraphs do not do the villa justice.

We were met on arrival and shown around the villa, everything was explained, ie. air conditioning.

It was very clean and had everything needed for a holiday.

The beds were very comfortable, we all had no problems sleeping.

The kitchen was equiped with everything needed for cooking and eating.

A plentyful supply of hot water, unlike other places we have stayed.

It is a closed gated comunity which was great for the grandchildren as there was no traffic.

The swimming pool became the hub of our stay, we spent many hours there.

A car is neccesity as the location is some way from the coast and towns. Though we did walk up to the Pueblo in around twenty mins.

I would highly reccomend a stay here. It's tranquil, yet accessible to all the locations that Benalmadena has to offer.

Having recently returned from our Easter break at the beautiful villa in Rancho Domingo, we can not praise the villa or the owners highly enough! From booking through to departure any questions we had were answered quickly and Joyce was happy to let us check in/out at times that suited our flights which was most appreciated.

Sue welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful villa with its private garden and around the complex. Inside the villa was very clean and well equipped with all you need for your stay. We loved the big walk in shower suite in the third bedroom with access to the private garden! All the bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of storage.

The sun terrace was great with some amazing views of the mountains and the sea, great place to chill out with a glass of wine. The sun around the pool was from sunrise to sunset which is just what we needed to escape from our British weather!

There are supermarkets within 10 min walk and bars and restaurants at the nearby village.There is a regular bus service into town/beach with the bus stop at top of the road. Taxis are plentyful and available at any time of the day or night. We walked to the village, and experienced the traditional Easter procession followed by a great meal at a local restaurant. A great night to remember ! The Wifi Internet was very handy to share with our family, the memorable moments we had.

We cannot fault the villa or the service at all, many thanks again to Joyce and Sue for such a memorable stay.

Lovely Spacious Villa

We were looking for a villa with some urgency after being scammed out of the one we had booked with Owners Direct and only found out about it 4 weeks before we were due to travel. We noticed this one was still free and promptly phoned the owner who was very helpful so we booked it quickly before someone else did. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was inside, covering 3 floors with the master en-suite bedroom downstairs leading to the private garden, the other 2 bedrooms on 1st floor with large lounge, kitchen and bathroom, then a roof terrace upstairs which gave great views of the sea and you could also see the pool from here. The whole place was very clean apart from the terrace which seems to get very dusty when it has rained... but that's by the by. As this was a spur of the moment booking we hadn't researched the area so we were a bit disappointed at the location which wasn't near any shops at all so as soon as we arrived we had to send the 2 men in our party to the nearest supermarket by taxi as we were all thirsty and needed cold drinks for the kids and milk for our coffee. We spent around £400 in the 11 days we were there on taxies to get us around, as there were 6 of us we always had to book 2 cabs. We did walk up to Pueblo on a couple of occasions but it is a very steep uphill walk and as it was so hot we were exhausted by the time we got there (that's probably due to our lack of fitness more than anything) but I wouldn't like to push a pram up that bank. Pueblo was wonderful and we all found something about it we loved. The supermarkets are about 3 - 4 mins away by taxi and had most of what we needed for our stay. We visited the Marina, Tivoli world, went up the mountains in the cable cars, visited the huge market, and had a day at the beach. We would have stayed by the pool for most of our stay as that is what we like to do but we found some of the residents who live or holiday there very strict with their 'pool rules'....no lilo's, beach balls, (or any kind of balls), no goggles, flippers etc.. were allowed so the 2 14 year old girls with us were quite bored as there is no wifi available at the villa, hence the large taxi bill trying to keep them entertained. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the villa was great and we were grateful for somewhere to stay at short notice.

Everyone seems to appreciate the space and private, separate areas even with maximum guests. We do offer a customised welcome pack for arrival for any essentials you require. The nearest shop is 5 minutes walk, but if you don't like walking or intend to travel a lot as in your case, we would recommend a hire car average £4 per day, source travel supermarket.com. I guess a lot of people would appreciate the tranquillity of the pool and garden. The beach is probably a better option for the very boisterous. I am pleased to report that the house now has wifi fitted.
