Apartment in Bel Air, Marbella Area, Costa del Sol, Spain - Its A Quiet Complex, Only 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach, Supermarket, Shops And Bars

This apartment is situated in a quiet urbanisation, however, within walking distance of local supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The beach can easily be accessed by a 15 min walk, with a choice of chiringuitos (beach bars). Nearby, the small, typically Spanish village of Cancelada has a great choice of tapas bars and gourmet style restaurants. There is a small market there every Friday morning. 10 minutes away, by car, there is the infamous Puerto Banus and a few minutes more the stylish Marbella. In the opposite direction from the property there is the port of Estepona, with many choices of bars, restaurants and shops. A Sunday market is held in the port, which is well worth a visit to pick up a bargain or souvenir. An ideal property for tennis enthusiasts, as Bel-air tennis club is only a short walk away. For golf enthusiasts, an abundance of courses close by. Wifi available.

Why Jason Fry chose West Costa del Sol

The owner bought the property because of the great location, only a short walk to the beach, local shops and supermarkets. It´s also close to Bel-Air Tennis Club and many local Golf Courses. The apartment it´s self is situated perfectly for the sun, there is sun on the terraces almost all day. Its a spacious well built apartment.

What makes this apartment unique

The gardens are great, large swimming pool. The other owners and renters are always very friendly.

We had rented another apartment elsewhere direct with the owner which, was dreadful and a total mistake by us. I contacted Jason and told him how miserable we were with our accommodation. Within the hour they showed us this apartment and we moved in the following morning. It was perfect. Bright, airy, spotlessly clean with great cooking facilities but best of all it was within easy reach of the really really nice restaurant and bars. It is a short walk away from the tennis club, which, meant we could have a sherbet or two with friends after tennis making for a great atmosphere. We also had a couple of bbqs as the facilities were so good. Thanks J & H for making our holiday.

Jason organised three things for us. The first was an apartment in Estepona near to the tennis club. Second was tennis lessons for me (Ian) and once he had assessed my tennis level, 2 to 3 hours every day of games. Third was riding for my wife, Maggy.

Firstly - The apartment worked really well and was very reasonably priced. The apartment was quite luxurious, built in a Spanish / North African style, where we relaxed after our enjoyable day's exercise. The Terrace caught the warm sun and you could look down on a central oasis garden of palm trees around the swimming pool. An ideal place to escape the winter cold of England.

Secondly - The tennis was excellent. Very friendly and relaxed club. Superb lessons from Jason who is a first rate teacher who is enthusiastic and cared that my tennis improved. I also met other members of the Club and played quite a few very enjoyable games.

Thirdly - Maggy's comments:

"Jason arranged for me to go riding horses for about two hours daily with Caroline Graham, while my husband Ian had tennis lessons. Caroline and her little Arab mare ride local Endurance races and won the most recent. However, Caroline adjusted her pace to mine, as we climbed up into the pine wooded mountains up from the coast. As it was winter, we rode along the empty sandy beach. Princess, my steed, was well behaved but responsive, not worried by dogs, or traffic. Across the balmy Mediterranean we could see Africa and Gibraltar. I loved the horses, riding and the company "

Maggy and Ian

I stayed here with my wife and 2 children at the end of August 2013 for a 5 day break. The development itself is well known to us, as we have stayed here many times before.

It is an established site with a lovely pool and very friendly residents. Its ideal for small children who can make friends easily and in a very safe environment.

The apartment was great to, WIFI, plenty of English TV channels and air conditioning in every room. Its well worth a stay, and of course it is very competitively priced. If you are looking for somewhere to stay at this price point, there is none better in this area, trust me!

Notes on accommodation: Internet is in the apartment and included in the price. Uk TV channels in the apartment. Outside: The terrace of the apartment has two sun beds and a terrace table and chairs. The shared garden has plenty of sun beds and space for sun bathing. You can be close or away from the swimming pool. Ideal for children. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and and space for drying the clothes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The beds are made up with clean bedlinen and towels on your arrival. The apartment can be cleaned and the bedlinen changed during your stay, but only on request.

El Retiro Penthouse Apartment

This penthouse apartment in El Retiro is nicely furnished and very well equipped. Catches the sun really well and both master bedroom and living room have french doors leading on to the terrace, And with views on to the garden and pool. It really is a lovely place to stay. Jason the property agent, was very quick in replying to my booking enquiry emails, and was very keen to offer help if and when it was needed during my stay.

Nice clean apartment

We rented this apartment for a week and found it to be in a nice, quiet urbanisation close to local amenities including cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a beach nearby and is within walking distance.

Lovely apartment in modern complex

Pepe´s beach is only 10 to 15 minutes walk away. There are sun beds and shades there with two fantastic beach bars.
