Apartment in Virginia Water, Surrey, England - Close To All Local Beauty Spots And 2 Minutes Walk To Shops And Restaurants

This is an ideal base for exploring the local area with many beautiful walks in Windsor Great Park, and along the Thames at Runnymede. RHS Wisley and Savill Gardens are only a short drive away. Spend a day in Windsor, visiting the castle. Windsor also boasts a Theatre, Race Course and there is the Windsor Eye in summer. Royal Ascot Race course in only 10 minutes drive or two stops on the train. There are many golf courses in the area with the renowned Wentworth Golf Club just up the road. Let the train take the strain and spend a day in London. Waterloo is only 45 minutes from Virginia Water. After all this activity have an exquisite meal in one of the many restaurants and pubs in Virginia Water all within walking distance. Virginia Water village also has a Bank, Post Office, Hairdresser, pharmacy, and although small a very well stocked Budgens supermarket.

Why Laura Gray chose Surrey

We had lived in Virginia Water for many years we loved the area and had good friends here. Then my mother became unwell, we need a larger house. Chalk House came on the market with a self contained flat, perfect, my mum would be next door but independent. Goodnews,

my mum recovered and never came, Then the aupair arrived to look after our daughter, but she's now grown up so we have an empty flat. We have fully refurbished the flat and would love to share it with people who would love to visit our beautiful part to the country.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful village close to historic Windsor Forest

We recently stayed three nights in the annex at Chalk house and found it to be spacious and comfortable, very well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. The house has a beautiful garden which adds to the charm. There are two markets and other shops a mere two-minute walk away in the village of Virginia Water and an excellent, old food pub - "The Rose and Olive Branch" - a short drive away. Virginia Water is set in a lovely, wooded area close to places like Windsor and Eton, Ascot, Runnymede and the Thames. It is also an easy drive from Heathrow Airport.

Perhaps most important, the owners, Laura and David, were unfailingly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed meeting them and would not hesitate to stay at the Chalk House annex again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and Relaxing

My husband and I stayed here right after we moved over from the states while we were apartment hunting. It was lovely. It is close to Heathrow and the train station which made it easy to get around. The property is fully equipped, and very clean and comfortable. David and Laura went above and beyond the call of hospitality, giving us the perfect balance of privacy and cheery help whenever we needed it. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Great stay for Couples and Singles

This lovely home makes the perfect place as a base for a couple or a single traveler! The home is close to the local transportation of train, bus or cab. It is a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space to stroll in your free moments. The flat itself is modern, well supplied, and private with a separate entrance, roomy for one person or two, and offered at a reasonable rate. The owners were helpful and friendly, able to be flexible in times of stay etc. Everything that one might need to cook is supplied in this wonderful flat. Stores are just down the street. Windsor, Staines, and London are within easy reach by car or train. A longer walk to Windsor Great Park is also doable for guests. I stayed there for two separate weeks, and will return again!
